Nothing from your end, this needs technician to fix it outside of your house.
I faced this too when I upgraded from VIP 5 to VIP 10, only upload speed was upgraded but not download speed. It was like for 3 days before it was successfully fixed. I requested TM to waive for me those days because I didn't enjoy the real speed. I got waived in my next bill. thumbup.gif

I was so worried that it will happen again when I upgraded to 30Mbps but luckily nothing happened, all went well. biggrin.gif
*
2 years back when I upgraded from VIP5 to VIP10, TM also miscapped my port for upload speed at about 6Mbps. But since it is upload, I didn't bother to report and stuck with that speed for 2 years until recently they reconfigured all ports to support the 30Mbps package. But now I am on 30 Mbps, checked my modem and noticed that the download is capped at 50Mbps, upload at 10Mbps (At the port)

Hi, those having issues with downloading from Appstore due to the ultra mega slow speed, I wonder if you all have lodged complaint to MCMC before?

Has anyone got an official explanation from TM and get an answer how long it will last?

I just downloaded an app.
No problem. Very fast...

Guys, got a question that's been on my mind, I'm currently on the Unifi VIP 10 package and am looking to upgrade to the UniFi 30 package since the price is the same and I don't use my house phone to call anyone anyways.

Primarily what I do at home is online gaming, streaming and regular downloads.

My only concern with the 5Mbps upload speed is that would it be sufficient for online gaming ? I understand that the UniFi 30 speed is asymmetrical so the upload might get congested (I'm assuming worse case scenario here). Anyone out there with experience on this ?

Thanks in advance !

Online gaming won't be effected. Gaming relies more on ping. biggrin.gif

Not if you are hosting an online gaming server like me. Upload bandwidth becomes really important. biggrin.gif

I host a Minecraft Bukkit server with 200+ simultaneous online users at peak times.

I am on VIP5 but upload bandwidth utilization exceeds 90% at peak times, but still no complaints of lag. biggrin.gif

hi guys...

can anyone care to share what steps need to be taken after u receive the email that notify that ur unifi have been succesfully upgraded...

and what did u and tm do after u failed to experience the supposedly upgrade package...

i agreed to upgrade my unifi from 10mbps to 30mbps but my download is still 10mbps but my upload has been reduced to 5mbps which confirms that im on the 30mbps package...on my occ.unifi page also confirms that.
ive reboot, unplug the power source to the router, already filed a report and today the technician come and check and did something in my area but still nothing changed.
i can still menoron at 1.1MBps like any other day while im on the 10mbps.
tomorrow i have to call the technician to report that im still facing the prob...any pointer/s that i can do on my end?
much appreciated
*
calling to them and make complaint... My upgrade only take one day and just see on occ.unifi.my already know upgrade is done... going back, try speed test first get 10mbps... after restart router, bam speed go to 50mbps...

Hi guys,

I'm a new subscriber and interested in the Unifi30 package. But I can't seem to find the Unifi30 package on official TM website.

Cos on official TM website, for VIP package, they give Free 1 month subscription and also can do Autopay (cheaper RM2/mth.. hehehe). Wonder can apply Unifi30 package straight with TM instead of go thru agent. Furthermore, mycybersale giving away free speaker to new Unifi subscribers (I presume must apply through official TM website).

Appreciate your advice! smile.gif

anyone got the bill already from upgrading vip10 to vip30 with hypptv?
Previously vip10 was Rm208.95(Rm199+gst-rm2(autodebit)).
They told me add RM20 only to upgrade so it should be Rm230.14 (Rm199+rm20+gst-rm2(autodebit)).
now my bill charged for RM245.20. rclxub.gif

For those who get a call from TM to upgrade from VIP10 to VIP30, do you get to retain the benefits of free calls to land line?

Add RM 20 for? The cheapest 30Mbps is also RM 199...
It has the derivation one, study carefully and you can calculate it.

UniFi 30 Mbps: RM169
HyppTV Pack: RM60
TOTAL: RM229
Add GST 6%: RM242.74

Of course there is also pro-rated charges when you first upgrade. Perhaps this explains??

Last time I tried calling unifi regarding to the issue of my router problem, before they connected me to one of their customer service representatives there was an announcement by unifi about the slow connection to appstore.
