Those stuck with 1Mbps Streamyx, they have no choice due to limited faster speed ports and unavailability of UniFi. doh.gif

This also means our infrastructure sucks.

1) TM Huawei HG655m VDSL2 Modem with Dr. Cool Modem Cooler
2) Asus RT-AC87U Gigabit Router
3) TP-LINK 8 Port Gigabit Switch

apparently Unifi had no issue of updating the iPhone apps this morning, smooth as butter as they say...

old flat use VDSL2 right?
meaning no hassle during installation right?
what if phone socket/head/cable rosak? TM technician will fix it or we have to fix it ourselve and postpone the installation?

Dr. Cool cooler, great for keeping your modem nice and cool! Haha...yes I agree cable management is messy.

Dr. Cool is for the TM Modem. For the Asus router I just used a standard cooler pad..with a USB fan.

Recommend me a considerably reasonable router upgrade than the stock TM one? Budget should be less than 200, around 150 would be nice.

For old flat, you need to check if Telekom has installed the necessary equipment in your building for VDSL2. If they have, then it's a straight forward installation.
