QUOTE(mengsuan @ Oct 2 2015, 09:23 AM) RE003 and PS3 is too high level to be compared to Champiro BAX 2. Lol. achiles is not good huh...My stock tyre is Achilles 2233, and I am more worried about the common blow outs than lack of grip. Lol. Sooo, a little bit of spirited driving today on the highway and my ABS light turned on and never turned off. Read the manual at the petrol station and it says the ABS might be faulty.
Restarted the car and it was fine again. |

I have to give kudos to Proton for providing a courtesy replacement car after my car was sent to the service centre for the 7th time for repair. Though I have wasted many trips and time visiting the service centre for the past 2 months. Hopefully they will be able to fix my car successfully this time.
Even Sime Darby Ford does not have sufficient replacement cars. Earlier this week, my Ford Focus was sent to the service centre to fix a rattling noise from the gear knob, and they failed to fix it in a day and need more time. Requested for a replacement car but they did not have any so I have to drive the car back and reschedule for another day. |

QUOTE(ericmaxman @ Oct 3 2015, 05:10 PM) Damn it Proton! I went there yesterday and asked around for a manual preve iafm for the oval circuit ride. Guess what! Everyone I asked said all cars there were automatics! Settled with a ride in the CVT Exec Preve Sidenote: My loan has been approved for my preve. Next is just NCD Withdrawal and Plate reservation. How long does this usually take till I get my car from this point on? It's a MT Exec btw. Thank |

Met with accident, front bumper gone, the hood is still knockable, right bracket gone, and leaked radiator which is weldable.
Luckily not my fault and the perp pays everything, but still, it hurts By the way, is this the correct part number for the Proton badge on the front grille? The grille is unscathed, but the badge is. [All] Badge Grille PW835512 53.83 This post has been edited by :3mushy:3: Oct 5 2015, 08:16 AM |

Recently my 2 yrs old preve CFE encounter some squeaking noice when crossing speed bump and sometimes on some uneven road, no mod to the suspension system only with 17" rim with 215/45/17 rubber. SC already retighten the under carriage already but the problem still yet to be solved.
Anyone of you might able to comment on this? I'm going to ask the SC to check on the sway bar Bush and the linkage. |

Meh. Not too big of a deal tbh! I much rather take a car that has matured over 4 years such as the preve rather than the newer Iriz. Look at the ridiculous amount of problems it has. That's the key with Proton, wait 1 year+ after new model and then only buy! Early adopters are mostly guinea pigs. As you know from around, Proton EPS on Iriz is the one people currently giving high praises about. Oh and speaking of the EPS, drove the Iriz for 3 hours straight on B-roads. Nothing to shout about, the steering. Lighter than preve, but feeling wise, it's roughly the same with the Preve. I don't drive hard at all, normally 70-80 kmh only, so maybe I just don't know the feel of a good steering and handling and my previous car is a myvi. Everything's better than a myvi! |
