guys,
recently whenever i turn my wheel to the left/right, i can hear a squeaky and rumbling sound from the front wheel. before alignment, the sound came from the right side after i did my alignment, the worker switch my right tyre with the left tyre, now the sound came from the left side. hahaha so, what is the problem actually? anyone encountered before..quite annoying sometime whenever i do a turning, |

QUOTE(dares @ Nov 15 2015, 09:53 PM) Actually LLP and LLAN is very cheap relative to the total premium, I'd advise taking them as well. the only extra premium was Special PerilThey protects against example scenarios below: - you ferry your colleagues to lunch, but got hit by a truck and one of your colleagues becomes paralyze and decides to sue you. - you ferry your colleagues to lunch. After parking by the roadside your colleague carelessly opens your car door and hits a pedestrian, who falls on the road and gets hit by a bike. The pedestrian sues your passenger for compensation. Like I said, the extra premium for this coverage is very, very cheap. There is little reason not to take them....just drink one less cup of starbucks. beside Windscreen. and in my insurance got two Legal Liability to Passenger and Legal Liability of Passenger what is the difference? |

QUOTE(mengsuan @ Nov 15 2015, 11:05 PM) Legal Liability of Passenger: Protects against any legal liability acts of negligence brought against your passengers how much does LL of passenger cost?Legal Liability to Passengers: Protects you against any legal liability brought against you by any of your passengers. (This coverage is compulsory if you drive your car in Singapore) Source: http://www.etiqa.com.my/English/Takaful/Pr...CarTakaful.aspx I do take Legal Liability of Passenger. I also take flood coverage. Costs me RM265 this year. |

Guys
Im planning to do some modification to the preve Should i change to R17 tyre or change the coilover and suspension Because my front bumper always 'sweep' the road sometime at steep decline&incline/roadbumps/roadcurb And which will improve ride comfort |

QUOTE(SportyHandling @ Dec 24 2015, 09:32 PM) Are you driving the stock Preve with 205/55 R16 tyres? If you are, then chances are the underside of your front skirting/bumper will not knock on the ramp of a slope, unless you are driving too fast. The clearance of the car is adequate and can clear most if not all speed bumps and ramps in basement car parks etc. Yea, not all speedbump, mostly my front scrape during steep incline/decline and sometime i can't estimate whether will it scrape or notPlus deep pothole also scrape my car Sigh My heart hurts everytime i heard the screeching sound from my bumper So i prefer to increase a bit the ground clearance |

QUOTE(mengsuan @ Dec 25 2015, 04:19 PM) 215/45/17 will make things worse, because overall diameter is a tad bit smaller. So change the tyre will at least get a ground clearance is it?Unless you do 225/45/17, which is just a tad bid bigger than your stock tyres. You need to slow down. If you change to coilover adjustables, the comfort will be gone, but can reduce chances of scraping. My car has to slow down to 0 when I go through ramps, because will surely get into contact. The places i got scrape something are HKL new elevated carpark, my house ramps garage, 'disguise' potholes, some speedbump, my university hostel area, sideroad curb My underbody got scrape too ππππ Usually i slow sown to 10kmh or 0kmh depends on situation, Sometime it pass through, sometime mesti kena scrape πππ |

QUOTE(mengsuan @ Dec 25 2015, 09:03 PM) Then yours is extremely serious, especially with stock 16" rims. Yupp because my house garage got 45' angle ramp and someplace like parking bay also got 45' angle rampsI never hit anything on my undercarriage, only front bumpers. My car is kinda scratchless, not even kerb rashes on rims. It takes a lot of care in driving to avoid any scratch or nicks. My underbody so get scratch, my rims dont have scratch but my front bumper (all angle) got scratches though, mostly deep scratch I will upload some pics. Would you reconmend change trye? |
