QUOTE(voscar @ Oct 6 2015, 01:59 PM) u sure got the replacement gearbox? or they just do some simple overhauling internal parts replacement job, thus some imperfect workmanship causes those problem? Just got my car back and it is confirmed that the transmission is replaced with a new one. Major parts replaced are as follows:-T/M Assy Replacement (RM11,019.94) Flywheel - Direct damper - DDF (RM1,012.71) Other minor parts are the Assy CVT3 transmission, Tutela transmission CVT AT and bolts for dual damper flywheel. |

Does anybody experience a noisy seat? The driver's seat?
After having changed the driver's seat 3 times with the latest seat just less than 2 months old, the seat is now showing noises. The back part of the seat whereby your back leans on it. There are noises when your back rubs on the seat. |

QUOTE(voscar @ Oct 10 2015, 01:09 PM) the new cvt transmission pricing seems not expensive, cheaper than some traditional AT. Was told that the gearbox costs RM17k the first time I got it replaced. This 2nd time round, perhaps not all parts of the gearbox are included. Currently no more annoying noises from the transmission. Drives like a new car. i was told that the flywheel was grinding against something which caused the sound. not sure why they changed the whole transmission though. so how was it now, no more noise? i guess the flywheel thingy does contribute to noise too, after the transmission and flywheel replaced it should be good. Now it is only the noise from the seat. Really annoying. I have changed the seats 2 times now and still the same. |

Does anybody have issues with the driver's seat whereby your back leans on the seat and the seat produces noises whenever your back rubs on the seat? I have replaced the seat 2 times and all the seats produced noises.
Does anyone have a perfect driver's seat that does not produce any noise at all when your back rubs on the seat? |

Speaking my mind:
AA I was driving my son to school on a 2 lanes road. There were 4 cars: 1,2 infront and 3, 4 behind the front 2 cars. I was #4. Car 3 squeezed into my lane, cut into his original lane overtaking car 1. He did it at quite a high speed and without using signal lights. You bet, I was cursing this guy. I don't care how good is he in driving, he should not do such an aggressive overtaking. One question came to mind then. Are the professional F1 drivers good/safe drivers on the road or are they the speedy, careless type on the road? BB Noted a hr+min data on the front panel (press the button at the end of the wiper stick a few times). Initially I thought it tells me what is the approximate driving time I have after topping up the petrol. Realised later is the total driving time since I got the car. It is only 50+ hrs. Cannot be, I have used the car for 14 months now. That works out to be 0.1 hr or 6 mins per day. Cannot be. I use the car for at least 30 mins per day. Maybe disconnecting the battery will reset that? I sent in my car for a checkup in Aug and they checked the battery. So starting from Aug, it works out to be 50/60*60 = 50 mins /day. That is more reasonable. Cheerio. |

QUOTE(fix24311 @ Oct 1 2015, 05:00 AM) i don't like Champiro BAX 2 at all. it's definitely not grippy as u said. push a bit into corners and it will scream and lose traction. very scary. plus two times i got bulging issue with this tyre. now changed to Bridgestone RE003 and I am a super happy driver how much the damage to change to Bridgestone RE003 might i ask? thanks brogreater grip on par with PS3, and it won't scream no matter how hard u pushed it. u feel very well planted no matter the speed. and it is more comfortable to ride than Champiro BAX 2, like rolling on a sponge! |
