Just out of curiosity, does the promo for family's Proton car extends to used car too? My dad is driving a 2nd hand Proton, my mom bought her Waja new. Also, is the promo only for this year or will it extend till next year too?

What's the offer for Preve/Suprima now? Proton still continue offering loyalty program this month?

I went to Mutiara Damansara last Sunday, the SA said Proton still has not announced any promo for this month?

Finally made my decision, just booked a Preve CFE at Autofest today. Now waiting for the SA to submit bank application and wait for bank call...

Anything I should take note of?

Anyone knows where I can trade-in the tire? Any tire shop outside also can trade-in? I'm planning to change the tire to Conti CC5 once I get the car, so if you know where to get it cheap please let me know too. smile.gif

what?? and how he finance it?
werent almost half of his salary went to car right?

If stay at home no need pay other loan, sure can. In the end depends how u manage ur own finance.

The Preve CFE costs slightly lesser than my annual gross salary. My friend same salary as me bought a Focus...

Flood alone costs RM265?

What does it cover actually? If I travel balik kampung, then my kampung got flood, car tenggelam habis, will insurance cover everything?

Mine does average 8.5L/100KM. I wouldn't call it bad at all.

It's a heavy car after all.

You driving it mostly highway?

Hi,

I am newbie here. My friend's Exora Bold oil cooler hose burst last week. The car had to be towed to SC in Puchong. My Preve CFE already 70,000km, 3 years 4 months but SC never mentioned this issue every time I go for servicing. Why is SC quiet about this?
*
From Prevoc FB group, it seems like all SC has directives to only change the oil cooler hose at 40k km service interval or when it's damaged/leaking. If yours are still working fine, they wont do anything.

Many thanks.

Had a look on the web on this WAZE.

If I understand correctly,
AA  it runs on mobile or tablet
BB  requires net connection (not just GPS connection)
CC  gives direction to destination like the GPS in the car

If BB is correct, then not really suitable for me as my car does not have wireless net gadget.

Please clarify.

The other option is Here Map Here Drive.

He means just use Waze app through your smartphone/tablet. And yes, It requires a smartphone + data connection.

Or you could buy a Lumia smartphone and use the HERE navigation apps, it's totally offline - does not require data connection.

Or just get a standalone GPS like Garmin, TomTom, etc.
