My house had been using NESH for 6 years. The outcome is good.
Their service is good.
When our filter need to service, just contact them or they will call you annually.
Their outdoor filter can filter off 0.01 micron.

Anyone use NESH? Was thinking to get one for my new house.

My suggestion, check what filter media they are giving and compare with other brands then u will be able to decide better.

This discussion thread has actually all the info you need but need to spend some quality time reading through the pages smile.gif Alternatively, if you do not have the time, u can always drop by our shop for more info on water filter smile.gif

This is a very simple and basic test you can do when choosing filter

For under RM200, this is my DIY 3-stage undermount POU. Cheapo standard 10" housing in series as mentioned by Billy boy with first stage RM4 1micron PP sediment filter, 2nd stage ceramic filter (forgot the price but not expensive) and 3rd stage  is a good quality NSF certified Dalton carbon filter (I think around Rm40 to Rm50).
Maintenance is super cheap due to standard 10" filter.
I use this set up as my secondary POU point for washing and cooking food in the wet kitchen.
For direct from tap drinking water, I use 3M in the dry kitchen.[attachmentid=7680134]

good and economy one,I am thinking to DIY setup like this for washing machine, wet kitchen (oledi have 10micron master filter from condo master filter) but water quality is still crap still, esp after water disruption

for drinking water, I have the aquophor crystal

Fully agree on this, many water filter only offer loose carbon which is not effective in removing contaminants. Always know what filter media they offer you and if they can show you the naked filter, even better.

Hello all,

n00b here researching info about water filters/purifiers etc. Until I came here I didn't know it was so complicated.

Can someone please explain the difference between the various products e.g. under-sink, or those normally put beside the sink like the Panasonic type, etc.? What's the difference between all the filter type - ceramic cartridge la, silver filter la, alkaline filter etc etc etc?

My parameters are as follows:-

-- budget between RM100-RM250, but if it is really a must-have product I can still go a little higher
-- don't mind boiling the water again after filter, if it is not an all-in-1 type of product
-- don't have much counter space next to my sink, only can put like 1 standalone filter, otherwise will have to put underneath

Thanks so much in advance to all the xifus here for any information / recommendation / advice you can give! notworthy.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

P.S. Perhaps later this info can be compiled and put into the first post for the future reference of other n00bs like me haha ... I found the first post helpful and informative to avoid all those nonsense "super-pure / miracle / magic" water sold by brands like Diamond, Nesh etc. (I always knew there was something suspicious about them!!)

See post# 803, within your budget.
If you want standalone counter top POU filter, go Panasonic, within your budget and at least you feel better with the brand name.

1. certificate expired/revoked.

2. marketing lie.

but likely you misread it somewhere, else provide source,

anyone who sell serious product wont just lie about this.
