Hi Zheilwane, i am interested in 3M AP902 and Aquaphor crystal eco for indoor and outdoor. Please pm me the best price. Besides, i have a few questions to consult u: 1. Is AP902 suitable for landed house? i want to save space so trying not to go for those big sand filter. 2. For indoor water filter installation, would it be possible to drill a hole on concrete top (3.5 inches include tiles) for the water filter tap without breakage?

QUOTE(lowya @ Oct 4 2016, 07:55 PM) Thanks for sharing... For under RM200, this is my DIY 3-stage undermount POU. Cheapo standard 10" housing in series as mentioned by Billy boy with first stage RM4 1micron PP sediment filter, 2nd stage ceramic filter (forgot the price but not expensive) and 3rd stage is a good quality NSF certified Dalton carbon filter (I think around Rm40 to Rm50). Maintenance is super cheap due to standard 10" filter. I use this set up as my secondary POU point for washing and cooking food in the wet kitchen. For direct from tap drinking water, I use 3M in the dry kitchen. Hi can i know where can buy this? Thank you. This post has been edited by pokeon go account: Oct 12 2016, 11:42 AM

I would say if you are planning to buy any water filter or to replace existing, get more product info and technology behind it rather than always comparing prices. There are many water filters that are very good and efficient compared to those heavily advertised big brands. There is a very useful guide from Consumer Reports, a non profit organization which work together with consumers to provide a good reference. http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/water-f...uying-guide.htmYes, you have to register an account with some charges to view reports as they solely rely on donation & account registration fees. I have an account before and i filtered the highest score for water filter category as shown below:

QUOTE(chickytien @ Oct 18 2016, 04:36 PM) Water filter is an expensive investment. Better buy it right than buy it cheap. As a good water filter can last for a family for at least 8-10 years. Simple logic when it comes to buy anything - you get what you pay for!! There is no such thing as cheap and very good or vice versa. If you have the Budget, go for world's #1 selling brand of water filter - eSpring water filter. If not, you can consider to get aquaphor crystal from zhelwane or other reliable Brands from other retailer. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « My family and I have been using amway eSpring for the past 6 years+ and we are very satisfied with it. This month i can help you to save additional $$$ because amway has trade in offer! I think the latest updated claims from VerifyMarket is 2014, right? 2011 sounds kinda long ago...

eSpring's design is clearly intended for counter top, after water tap, using faucet diverter valve in order to prevent full time water pressure when filter is not in use. Can eSpring be installed undersink, before water tap and withstand the full time water pressure from the main ?? Usually water at kitchen is direct from the main. I remember one forumer posted before that installing eSpring undersink, the filter will burst.

QUOTE(exsakai @ Oct 18 2016, 11:38 PM) Does amway provide warranty against clogging? May be next time got budget can consider upgrade again in case anything happen to my aquaphor haha. Clogging as in? So far no customer have this issue as eSpring only have 1 filter cartridge with UV light. eSpring provide 2 years full coverage warranty (except accessories wear and tear). Even cartridge is included in warranty. I have customer having cartridge issue (beeping sounds although just used few months) able to claim a brand new filter without charges. As long as it's factory defect, no worries. This post has been edited by oyching88: Oct 19 2016, 12:45 AM

I'm not sure who report you (I'll get notified because I'm TS). Definitely someone butthurt report your post, also the comparison need to specific which exact model (for the 2 C company) to back your claim in the chart. They just selling too many models.
