A little info for your thesis, NESH water filters are not NSF tested or certified.

NSF tested is not NSF certified.

then probably...

1. certificate expired/revoked.

2. marketing lie.

but likely you misread it somewhere, else provide source,

anyone who sell serious product wont just lie about this.

I am completely new to this. I currently have a Bacfree Indoor filter and am pretty happy with it.

My issue is that I do not have an outdoor filter. I would like to add something to pre-filter the water before it comes into my house.

From the reading I have done here, it seems a sand filter is preferable and more long lasting.

The market is FLOODED with all sorts of outdoor filters. How do I pick a reliable one without breaking the bank?

I was approached by a NESH promoter in the REX 17 fair but that is a membrane filter I believe. She also told me some water filters will reduce my water pressure as there are not enough outlet holes i nthe filter itself for water to pass trough.

Any pointers for me please? Key thing would also be the cost for replacing the filter.

I already have a Nesh Membrane Queen outdoor filter installed at my condo. I'm thinking of getting one indoor filter for drinking water direct from tap. Any suggestion/recommendation for an affordable under-sink (preferably) filter? With a pre-filter already installed, do I need to get a "high tech" and expensive indoor filter?
