Fog Light : H11 - Cree LED (6,000k - white)
As shown as photo - really bright & white. But little more hard to get the reflector to work properly. But worth the effort spent.

QUOTE(danieloo @ Dec 29 2015, 10:56 AM) I changed all the major light bulb : anything above 4500k is not road legal... however.... jpj focus mainly on HID lightings rather than halogen bulbs... just the concern of projector headlamp sometimes they cant differentiate between HID and halogen... simply stop you down first only talk more Low Beam : H11 - Osram Cool Blue Hyper + (5000k - white) I find this is not totally white, but of course it's much whiter compare to stock original halogen bulb. I find it bright enough. Note : As said from the website, this is not approved on public road. But, since our Projector can control the beam height, I always use level 3 to reduce glare to car ahead in city drive. http://www.osram.asia/osram_asia/products/...38271/index.jsp Fog Light : H11 - Cree LED (6,000k - white) As shown as photo - really bright & white. But little more hard to get the reflector to work properly. But worth the effort spent. Fog lamp casing DRL - White color & turn on when car is start. This used to be very bright when it's on and whenever i go into parking basement, it's much brighter then the original yellowish stock fog lamp. But not until I change the fog bulb to LED. Position/Parking light : T10 LED White bulb Got this from Mr DIY for RM7.50/pair (5 diode). Easy to install, really bright & white too. Last bulb to change is the High Beam lamp - HB3 or 9005. Plan to get the Osram Cool Blue Hyper + too. |

QUOTE(danieloo @ Dec 30 2015, 10:51 AM) Have not really tested in heavy rain condition. But I think the Osram H11 halogen should have no problem with it. I think you better test it out under safe condition. All your lights are white colour which can be a problem seeing through rain. You don't want to be caught on a stormy night and be driving blind. |

Hope it's not that bad in rain. |

QUOTE(nayte @ Dec 26 2015, 12:23 PM) Also, the DRL's go off when the gear selector is in "park". I think you may want to look at this :speaking of lights, does anyones headlights flutter when going through rough roads? i.e giving the impression that the projector lamps are loose? I believe its due to the AFS but just wanna check if this is normal. http://mazda3revolution.com/forums/2010-20...ight-tsb-2.html |

QUOTE(danieloo @ Dec 30 2015, 12:21 PM) Thanks for the advise. Never have thought of that. actually 5000k not reli recommended for stormy condition cause the yellow was too minimal already... as in nt full white.... the white will reflect on the rain more than on the road... thats why most of the light bulb sellers always recommend us.... 5000k for low light... less than 3500k for fog light... just in case stormy condition usage....But like I said, the Osram bulb wasn't totally white. Hope it's not that bad in rain. |

QUOTE(wkc5657 @ Dec 30 2015, 02:33 PM) haha when i saw the dreaded 3 letters (TSB) in the link i thought this can't be good.affected models are 2012-2013 so unless Mazda carried over the affected parts, I think we're off the hook. I have not experienced any flicker as they described, just merely minor wobbles of the light beam when going through rough roads. what i suspected that caused this "wobble" is the AFS and auto levelling mechanism - because the projector lens are swivelling horizontally / vertically according to steering input and vehicle height(or weight?), thus they might be somewhat loose so that they can swivel. I did disable the AFS to see if it wobbled less, and true enough it did. // on a separate topic, do your engine oil dipsticks have a matte surface as opposed to the conventional shiny surface? It makes gauging the oil level unnecessarily difficult with the matte surface |

The AFS only have horizontal movements.
Yes, the dip stick is matte, so use tissue paper to "print" the markings and compare. Remember that the readings are supposed to be done when the engine cools down, not warm. (opposite is applicable for transmission fluid though). |

It would've been much more straight forward. Have a great new year fellow M3 owners one and all |

Just an update guys. Those who experience the squeaking absorber when driving after rain can head to Mazda Glenmarie. I was asked to come just for inspection before they can put me on waiting list but then they said they changed the lower arm bush d. Looks like the have some more stocks? *Initially they said need to wait few months for stocks from Japan*.
Also they put stopper to remove the knock knock sound. Im a happy M3 owner now |

I am curious. The free parts and labour service is up to 60k km.
1st service done 1000km 2nd service scheduled at 11000km So it goes on up to 51000km. So according to the tnc it is up to 60k km which means our last free service would be the one at 51k km? Or can i go for next service before it hits 60k km even though the next one is scheduled at 61k km? |

I messed up and went around 400km over my first 1000km service interval. Getting the car serviced tomorrow. Am I likely to face any issues with warranty and such? It's my fault yes, but would seem harsh. Hopefully it'll be fine. Just a little concerned.
Also, not quite sure what happened but my petrol cap has been bent inwards (as if someone pressed it in). Does anyone know how I can go about fixing or replacing it? |
