Both CBU & CKD has it haha, i just checked the CBU recently, but its hardly noticeable... Unless you drive fast like around 80, then you go adjust the ALC like fiddling around 0-7, then there's a difference haha... but when im driving and i on it i dont notice it

Quick questions to all the sifu here. How the Running Daylight work? When turn on the car while the light is switch off, will it actually turn on? Sorry if this question being ask as this threads is way too long.

Yes, it's a very promising development. The author wants to eventually implement software mirroring which will be boon to us as we can mirror Google Maps and Waze from our smartphone to the infotainment screen. Right now hardware mirroring solution cost more than RM2K and they have to dismantle the dashboard. So lets give him some feedback and encouragement to help him along.

Congratulations! The DRL is on when the car engine is on the headlights off. That's how its supposed to work as a "Daytime Running Light".

Also, the DRL's go off when the gear selector is in "park".

speaking of lights, does anyones headlights flutter when going through rough roads? i.e giving the impression that the projector lamps are loose?

I believe its due to the AFS but just wanna check if this is normal.

Just give any service centre a call to ask for the price. Then you compare against outside spare parts shop, just choose whichever cheaper lor...the spark plug also can ask spare parts shop for advise. Some manufacturers put in the spark plug type in their car manual, you can have a look there first.

Flutter?? You mean like the when the ceiling tube lights are starting? If so, not good sign. When the AFS is working, you can see the light beams shift towards the direction of the turning of your steering wheel.

Speaking of the headlights, any of the forumers actually witness the auto high beam control actually working? Even when i set to auto for both headlight and highbeam, never seemed to see it activated in real life driving before. I check manual to confirm whether got fault but my indicator light showed it is in ok condition.

well not exactly flutter like fluorescent lamps lighting up per se (if i understood you correctly).

more like the light beam "jiggles" when going over uneven roads, like something is loose in the headlamp housing. its very very minor, just something i noticed and wanted to check with other owners


my HBC works fine. you have to be on a really really dark road for it to work. mine wouldn't come on if there are street lamps bright enough for the camera to detect. did you set your headlight stalk to the high beam position, i.e pushed forward (away from you)? maybe try disabling and re-enabling the HBC in the car settings and see if it works.

bro, wanna ask what is the type of headlight bulb in Skyactiv M3 GL? wanna change it to brighter type ie. Osram / Philips. TQ

Anyone facing some rattling metal noise from the back of the car? The piece that underneath the back screen (Sorry don't know what it called ). When you pass some rough surface, u will heard the metal piece rattling noise and it very annoying.

Do you feel the head light not enough bright ?
