Hi all M3 owners, would like to know is it the NVH is that poor? Most of the reviews for M3 sure mentions the NVH / road noise / wind noise is not at par for its class..

I am driving a persona at the moment. Any persona owners upgraded to M3 enlighten me pls? Thanks alot...

* I did a test drive at Puchong branch. Too bad they just doesn't allow me to go highway to test it. cry.gif

incredibless ZaiZai1989 Thanks for your feedback.. Comments for both GL and Highspec seems like the road noise is kind of disappointment for this car.. hahaha.. But packs of features which cannot be ignored is the selling point of M3 too.. laugh.gif

What tint you guys using?

I'm now comparing 3M and LLumar. Any advise or comments on this two tints?
*
Hi, i just telling what i was told ya.

In terms of heat rejection (heat reduction), 3M is better than Llumar. Some said will encounter smart tag issue, but SA show me you have to place the smart tag right under your rear view mirror, due to there has some sensors which tinted film is not covered. That's the trick there..

In terms of security, Llumar is better. Don't know is there any other issue. No further story from SA.

But Altis n Civic is throwing big discount. Civic rebate is currently 10k. By year end discount cld be even more.
Even the hot selling city also give 4k discount.
*
Haha.. Buy the car you love at, not the car with huge discount then you feel regrets later on. But it is good if Bermaz also could give some attractive package. drool.gif

If you compare the price, why not you compare the features offered on the car? Any of them gave you something like iActive sense features? 6 airbags across all variants either in GL or HS Mazda 3? Do consider that too..

The let down on Mazda 3 is only the cabin / interior space. But it is differs for everyone out there. Bring your family go and test it out. It is not that bad actually unless your whole family all 180cm tall and have a big size body. If you do always take full load (4 passengers = 5 ppls) then I would say Mazda 3 is not suitable to you. Again, this is still depends on the size of your passengers. For the middle seat, I agreed that it is quite suffering. tongue.gif

As an info, my height is around 170cm (less than that, my family roughly the same height as me). Rear leg room still have plenty legroom which is more than 1 fist. I would personally say it is enough for the rear passenger to do some stretching during long journey. All the info are captured during test drive only. Ask your family's opinion too.. Some also complain that Mazda's seat are harder compare to H and T comfort seats. But my parents cant tahan soft cushion, harder seats actually provides better supporting although it is not so comfortable when compare side by side with softer seats. I would rather choose to have better supporting rather than have back pain later on. nod.gif

Please don't feel offended with my words. I just voiced out my opinions why I am choosing Mazda 3 after so much considerations.
Paiseh for the poor grammar and rojak english. Happy hunting for your new car. Cheers~

Hi guys, do your car has 2 tone colors on body and bumper? I notice that when I went inspect my car this afternoon.

It is just so obvious on blue and grey. Aluminium and white less obvious due to brighter color.

I'm wondering if anyone could check and give me feedback on your ride.

hi fellow mazda fans,
i am considering new altis n volkswagen jetta (something within my budget)....suddenly came across mazda 3 which made my mind explode....

well mazda 3 is not that bad after all...only issue i notice is, the rear passenger seat is quite narrow and understand that the RV is low...

im from jb btw n visited mazda near permas.

Thus far either altis or mazda 3 would be my favorite and having hard time to choose....
any good samaritan can recommend something here??
i need real suggestions why i should consider mazda compared to altis??
is really RV important (cause toyota RV should be better than mazda...i guess)??

cause im seriously thinking of changing my existing vehicle by end of this year.

hi bro.. mine have this... body n rear bumper is with two tones color.. and is kinda obvious to me.. mine is grey.. what about u?
*
I opted for reflex blue. Car arrived at showroom this afternoon. As I requested to inspect car before they register the car, thus SA called and let me do some inspection first. Upon arrival I quickly noticed there are 2 tone colors on bumper and body. cry.gif

Now I still considering whether want to accept the car or not.. SA advice is if want fast car, then switch to other color. Else, gonna wait at least 3 weeks, or more than that for next batch.

Mind to share your photo? Because i dont get what u mean.
Mine is grey but so far no 2 tone colors in sight.
*
I didn't manage to capture photo. Was heart broken when told car is ready but ended up in this way.. cry.gif

Take a close look and compare the body color against your bumper paint.
From what I see there is some different in colors hence I say 2 tone. Paint on the bumper produce darker and less shining surface..

Perhaps ZaiZai1989 could help to capture some pics? Since he mentioned he did noticed it too.. Perhaps its related to material? Body = metal, bumper = PU/ABS plastics?

Thanks~!

QUOTE(KennyKB @ Oct 13 2015, 11:00 PM)
Maybe you can ask the SA if the bumper can be resprayed under warranty. Reflex blue is a really nice colour.
*
To me, all colors are nice on Mazda 3. Just personal preference are more towards Aluminium Metallic and Reflex Blue.. rclxms.gif

Had a short discussion with family and they agreed to switch to Aluminium. I also came across this idea, claim a respray but I think it is like a gambling.. It may come out nice and matched the colors but may also become worst.. hmm.gif

So, give up liao.. Doesn't feel like want to go for so much hassle for a new car..

Thanks bro for your suggestion! notworthy.gif

Maybe should change the mindset like Kenny for the potential owner.
"Take it as feature and not a defect."

If you are looking at good discount for Mazda 3, then you probably may want to wait till next year. Everyone know CKD just launched this year April and it is sells quite well. If happened that the SA said has ready stock, then sure it has less offer because out there somebody are still waiting for their car, while yours is ready stock.

Good luck hunting best offer. cheers~

CX3 using normal handbrake and not the button handbrake?

Anyway just got my Mazda 3 last week. Bought from Bermaz at the Federal Highway since Mid of August.
Was given a discount of 1500 + 500 tinted voucher and free coating.
So far very very happy with the car.

Got a few questions for the people here who read the thick manuals.
Is there any indoor temperature gauge?
For the entertainment console, anyway to show driving details like speed,, etc on it instead of the boring home display?
*
Not bad for the offer.. But it was offer from August. You took the HS?? No poison from you?? Hahaha.. Congrats on your new ride..

Get the color you like la.. You are the owner, not us.. Hahaha..

All colors also nice on M3.. Just dont feel regret afterward..

You just placed booking or getting car soon? Waiting for loan approval? Then you still have few days time to decide. Go out and Drive more, observe any M3 that appears on the road. Follow them and judge with your heart which color you like the most.. tongue.gif

Btw, I personally think that Aluminium is more elegant, cheerful due to its brightness. Mean while Meteor Grey, looks very sporty, garang.. Cheers bro.. Susah mau decide right?? Hahaha..

Can anyone share if you guys have opted to Full Sync oil during service? How much extra we are required to top-up?

Thanks~! Took my baby 4 days ago.. Ride is good. Except well known issue like "Kruk Kruk" sound when go over bumps, some rattling and tickling noise from driver and passenger side.. Other than that, well.. Mazda 3 rocks~!

Hi guys
Normally wat kind of fuel u guys using? 95 or 97?
Any big difference?
*
Have not try 97 yet.

But here's my usage. My first tank was from Shell, RON 95. Free full tank from SA and 30% Highway, 70% city. Let me checked the mileage later.

*update on first tank: Refuel was taking 40 litres of ron95, which mean there is 10 litres left. Mileage: roughly 480km. So that will be 12km/l.

Current second tank RON95, BHP, was still under testing, 20% highway and 80% heavy city traffic. Update later too.. rclxms.gif

*updates: with half tank left, i managed to clock 324km now. I believe the FC will become better and better.
