QUOTE(incredibless @ Jul 5 2015, 06:22 PM) Toyo tires too. 205/60/R16.. Road noise definately much lower and comfort based vs the high spec 18"inch.. Less harsher too and most importantly cheaper to replace. That's one of the main reasons why I booked the low spec. Prefer 16" for the reasons you mentioned. |

QUOTE(uxb138 @ Jul 6 2015, 06:40 PM) 9. I have a habit of always checking the engine coolant temperature when I drive my other cars, but there's no such display on the M3. You get a blue led icon when you start the car in the morning. The engine revs at just over 1K for some seconds until the light goes out. I'd like to know the coolant temperature when I'm driving, seeing that M3 has a high compression ratio engine. Cheers, |

QUOTE(uxb138 @ Jul 7 2015, 03:36 PM) Thanks... I hope there is a way to monitor the coolant temp. If you notice the temp going higher you can do something like turning off the air-con or look for a good place to stop. Getting an alarm is already too late.I haven't seen any such info on the display cluster yet. But then I'm still feeling my way round the instruments. The owner's manual says if the engine coolant temp is too high, you'll get a warning message on the display, but nothing about the instantaneous coolant temp. Perhaps an expert can help us here. |

QUOTE(VDread @ Jul 18 2015, 10:13 PM) It's a grey area and manufacturers like to keep quiet instead of explaining how installing accessories will affect warranty. Logically installing something into the electrical system like audio system or alarm should not affect warranty of non-related parts like engine and transmission. But if your wipers malfunction can they blame it on your aftermarket alarm? It's possible but arguable. If you don't want to have any argument about warranty don't install anything aftermarket but you may be missing out on better security/conveniences/audio for your car. |

QUOTE(takeshi_kovacs @ Aug 15 2015, 12:16 PM) Thanks jackbjg and KennyKB. I wish I had the money and car park space to get both! LOL If your wife is the primary driver my advice is go for the Mazda 2. It's also a very well equipped and fun car to drive and you save quite a bit. And she can choose RED which is not a Mazda 3 colour. It would primarily be my wife's car. I'll just drive it on weekends. Also considering the CX3 but that won't be out til Nov. Glad to hear that the SC is ok. I live in KL so it would be Glenmarie? Planning to test drive both cars, maybe this afternoon! |

QUOTE(aimeh @ Oct 13 2015, 11:50 AM) She said 2.8 if not mistaken. Whole car covered. I wouldn't spend so much on coating. It makes the surface smooth and easy to clean but other than that it can't protect the paint much. It doesn't protect against bird droppings, tree sap, scratches or watermarks. The coating usually last only a year. Then can go back to touch up without charging. Normally how much is coating? 2.8k able to repaint whole car already. |

QUOTE(Trrienty @ Oct 15 2015, 10:33 AM) Mine white color also has 2 tones Probably the layer sprayed on the bumper is too thin so the different type of surface show different colour from the body. Nothing much we can do about it.I have checked other cars at showroom be it test drive or customers car. i checked white, grey, aluminum metallic all are 2 tones. The paint job is bad. Last time my grey color vw golf has very very minimal difference of color between body and bumper |

QUOTE(Sh@rty 5 @ Oct 26 2015, 08:11 PM) perhaps the only product in the market that gives u the autofolding mirror function & brake autolock WITHOUT tapping ur original wiring AND ALSO u can still have the OBD port function. cause most in the market either requires u to give up the obd port function or tapping of existing wiring purely plug n play without any warranty issue to worry Price Rm 3xx Lock alarm, side mirror fold, unlock side mirror unfold and also not forgetting the most important feature brake autolock video shud be up tonight at our fb page ![]() By the way, what's the purpose of folding the side mirror when you park? |

QUOTE(kluseng @ Nov 25 2015, 01:28 PM) Congrats on your decision. Yes, HS spec is really worth it. See this list: Well look at it this way. The GL is the same engine and same body as the HS. All the important safety features including reverse camera and USB/bluetooth entertainment/telephony system are included in the GL. The extra gadgets are nice but not necessary for you to enjoy your car. Besides you should get slightly better performance and FC than the HS due to lighter rims and lighter body (due to less gadgets). And don't forget you saved RM15K.Addition for HS over GL. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Got any GL owner regret? Sure I'm one of them. Everyday! From what I heard the Skytint film is nothing special. Better get your own tint outside. There isn't much rebate for Mazda 3 as it is already competitively priced. If you press hard you may get RM500-RM1K rebate from some SA. This post has been edited by Ginny88: Nov 25 2015, 01:53 PM |

QUOTE(helmut_lim @ Dec 1 2015, 11:06 AM) I read the manual last night, i guess use the key remote to push the button instead of our finger.... i am not sure if i get it correctly or not I think it means just touch the start button with your remote to allow the ECU to recognize the remote then start with your finger normally. This post has been edited by Ginny88: Dec 2 2015, 03:17 PM |

QUOTE(tortois3 @ Dec 15 2015, 05:30 PM) Hi guys , i have few question regarding our mazda 3 1) You mean playing movies on the screen? From the factory no but there is a hardware and software hack for it. 1) Can our mazda 3 play dvd on the screen? I saw my friends new cx5 able to play dvd 2) If i want to adjust the wheel camber , do i need to add on camber screw in order to adjust it? 3) Any 1 here has replace battery before? I saw online there is people selling RM 600 for original mazda GS battery. It wrote there if don't use original battery i-stop will never function. Is that true? Any one here using other brand battery ? 2) Forget about adjusting the back wheel camber. Manufacturers don't put in any adjustment screw because it is not necessary although your mechanic will try to convince you otherwise. 3) The i-stop feature require special battery to work. If you use normal battery you lose the i-stop function. |

QUOTE(nayte @ Dec 27 2015, 01:30 AM) well not exactly flutter like fluorescent lamps lighting up per se (if i understood you correctly). I don't consider the high beam control to be working optimally if it only works on really dark roads. Some things are best done manually instead of depending on the electronics to make the decision for you. Others are the auto headlights on and auto wiper on. Lane Departure Warning is extraneous. If you need electronic aid to tell you when you are changing lane you should really hand in your license.more like the light beam "jiggles" when going over uneven roads, like something is loose in the headlamp housing. its very very minor, just something i noticed and wanted to check with other owners my HBC works fine. you have to be on a really really dark road for it to work. mine wouldn't come on if there are street lamps bright enough for the camera to detect. did you set your headlight stalk to the high beam position, i.e pushed forward (away from you)? maybe try disabling and re-enabling the HBC in the car settings and see if it works. The blindspot monitoring sounds like a good idea but one HS owner told me he can't depend on it 100% because there are times it fails to detect and almost got him into an accident once. One thing I realize is there is very little blind spot for our M3. When the car in the next lane disappeard from the side mirror I can already see it looking out of my side window. But of course have to look la. |

QUOTE(Aizat2402 @ Jan 2 2016, 01:00 PM) I am curious. The free parts and labour service is up to 60k km. You can go for the service at 59,990 km. I'm sure they won't bat an eyelid.1st service done 1000km 2nd service scheduled at 11000km So it goes on up to 51000km. So according to the tnc it is up to 60k km which means our last free service would be the one at 51k km? Or can i go for next service before it hits 60k km even though the next one is scheduled at 61k km? |
