Actually happened about 3-4 years back, I have actually cancelled the card with ABC bank less than 6 months ago but before CNY that year , I 'si fatt han' logged in into my online banking to see . SHOCKED to see an outstanding of RM100K . All the transactions were for a bogus computer company, and the mailing add was for an address in Cheras, To cut story short, police reports ensued and all the dingdongs with ABC bank and BNM, they made investigation (there is this house in Cheras but no occupant) and the fact I had cancel the card less than 6 months (no re-issue within 6 months I guess) etc, I finally got my case settled within a few 'sleepless' months.


Is advisable to go BNM to print out your CCRIS report every now and then, better be safe than sorry

Just wait and see. Something might happen or not. Anyway if remove 5% cash back i cannot use this card to pay Maxis Home anymore

And today I saja login and check my transactions and realized the CL has increased 5k.

I am just gonna wait and see how it goes.

Increased slightly only. It's the max they can give if they are following BNM rule, which is 2.5-3.5 times of the salary.

Anyway it's a gov job, gaji like peanuts only.

Hopefully the 5% cashback remain unchanged.
Even-though it's only on weekend, it has helped me alot to pay my petrol, bill, grocery till car service in 1 single card. Not a high spender, just enough to utilize the RM50 CB.

If this benefit is really gone, really have to sort on owning multiple cards.

Just came back from MBB Card Center for applying VS. The staff told me YES as they have received information on that.

Let's pray hard for miracle from now on.

Last time when I terminate a card, just a phone call and they say they will settle everything.
No black and white after that, a bit scare now.

Why the screenshot highlighted in yellow colour in 1st post can't see in Maybank website?
