QUOTE(amxpayne67 @ Jun 28 2015, 09:33 PM) Sorry for misunderstand, i am not aware that the charge is no longer applicable to MBB cards. Because last time there is a debate about this charge. If like this perhaps this card still worth keeping. The RM50 GST was abolished for all credit cards when the 6% GST on 1st April was implemented. It is now charged on annual fees instead. Since this card has RM0 annual fees, even with GST the annual fee is still RM0 =)

If like this perhaps this card still worth keeping. Last time was Government Service Tax = RM 50 per card, after implementation of Goods and Services Tax, the RM 50 is no longer applicable. For cards that have no annual fees, then don't need to pay anything anymore.

Since MBB is gonna restrict 5% on dining only and I max my MBB Amex for TM bills all these while, I think PBB Visa Signature will be a much better bet now as the capped amount is RM60 per month and at 6% cashback. Why did I miss this card all along? It seems to be a better choice than 5% Amex is offering , even without the restriction. Or did I miss something? This PBB VS can pay TM bills via Payonline and still entitled to 6% , right? This post has been edited by michaelho: Jun 28 2015, 11:46 PM Attached thumbnail(s)

If debt ratio to net income is >65~75%, chance to get reject is very high... So for high commitment ppl, please clear some of the outstanding loan. Oh yea, outstanding amount from balance transfer is consider as commitment as well <-- according to banker This post has been edited by red_scorpion: Jun 28 2015, 11:58 PM

Will try my luck applying and use solely for TM bills if approve. Then it would only 3 cards for me : PBB VS (if can get approval) : TM bills via Payonline HLB WISE : Groceries / Petrol while Wife's Wise : Groceries / Syabas / TNB HLB Essential : for every other things This post has been edited by michaelho: Jun 29 2015, 12:08 AM

Getting Started

|
Been approach on RHB visa,
weekend 5% petrol (apply to any petrol station)
and groceries on Tesco(x2 point on tesco club card)
weekday 2 % apply to both, too bad no utilities,
This card doesn't have AF, min Income 25k and above.
This might be my second alternative ~,~
