Apply credit card on the weekend is no possible to get the card on the same day because No ppl in HQ working to approve your credit card.
*
Instant card approval at places like 1 Utama credit card center is possible.
Basically there is an automated algorithm in their system that can advise approval (or otherwise) within seconds.

Likewise on how I got my RHB card on a Sunday within 20 minutes.

But VS's annual fee of RM 588.00 + 6% GST seems a certainty nowadays.

So far, 2 of my friend failed to waive it despite having reached the minimum spending target.

Or maybe their luck ain't good enough  laugh.gif
*
Meeting minimum spending of 50k and still not waived??!!
If I am your friend, I would have lodge a HUGE complaint to maybank already.

Not sure the staff lazy or what.
By right, you need to surrender the card and in return you will get termination letter.
*
Not true also.

Many many years ago, I walked in to branch to cancel card. They cut it into 2 and that's it. No letter whatsoever.

*
Correct. Retention period of the voice recording is typically 180 days for contact center.

I have running installments charged to my m2c. Is it possible to transfer that running installments to another card ie maybank ikhwan?
*
If I remember correctly, this is not a change at the bank, but rather at the merchant of your installments.

Again, Maybank, please check your grammar before you publish the note!

I can see on Gold, too.

It's probably cached in the browser (assuming you are using Internet Explorer).
Try clearing the cache and you'll see the new terms.

I can see the new updates from IE and Chrome.

As long as the TP is non convertible to cash like MBB VS.

Then you can transfer TP to any existing card if you cancel the card.
*
the strange thing is, during the TP devaluation hooha in April, when everyone is redeeming their TPs before it loses its value, the card center just use the total points from both VS and normal card's TP together, there was no differentiation between these 2 TPs as per what mentioned on the bank's website.

So, are they really separated? I wonder.

To convert TP to vouchers or stuff.. they will pool all card's TP together.
To convert TP to cash rebate, only can choose MBB VS TP only
*
Can I safely assume that all TP from Amex card 2 can be transferred to VS if one decided to cancel Amex card 2 come August?

Ringgitplus offer of RM200 Lazada vouchers will end on 31st Jul 2015. Do act fast if you really want the sign up gift.

My colleagues have applied and received the vouchers successfully.

The 5% weekend cashback is not limited to petrol only but all transactions, as long as you use the M2Amex Card. However, effective from 1st Aug 2015, it has been revised to 5% weekend cashback limited to expenses on local dining only. source

and 1st August basically started yesterday (Monday).

QUOTE(kuai_chai @ Jul 29 2015, 09:46 AM)
anyone know where can i complain lazada?

i used my RM200 voucher from maybank to buy a few items.
After ordering, while waiting for the items to arrived, lazada sent me and email and told me that 1 of the item is not available, they will order FULL AMOUNT of what I paid.
The item price is RM21.
I paid in total, after adding shipping fees = RM208.++, after deducting the voucher = RM8.++.

They offered me refund of RM0.38.
I was like "WTF" 38 cents? from RM21? donation to beggar is it...?!
I will rather they refund me another voucher worth RM21 instead of 38 cents.

What do u think?
*
Not sure I understand what it meant by 'they will order FULL AMOUNT of what I paid'.

yeah.. i have replied and complained..
my only worry is they won't entertain my complain, so where should i complain to?

obviously the voucher is a scam if everything i that i ordered have no stock?
that means the rm200 voucher is forfeited for nothing!!

I've gotta say, this is staying OT.
