for those who want to pay astro with Amex i just saw the Amex logo option from their official website payment portal.

i can't verify coz i already max out my amex quota this month.

anyone tried to pay with amex from their official website?

well, today is the last day for this month, good for ppl who have yet to max out their quota and don't have other means to get cash back for astro.

Only rich citizens can afford to enjoy Astro!

even you qualified for 100kpa, but these few years bank negara strict rule caused the bank measure your credit card application according to normal loan application.
If debt ratio to net income is >65~75%, chance to get reject is very high...     

So for high commitment ppl, please clear some of the outstanding loan. Oh yea, outstanding amount from balance transfer is consider as commitment as well <-- according to banker

They are even better, allow 0% installment.

if true they revise Cash Back feature , that would make this cards no longer attractive...
Dining places/restaurants that accept amex?  rare and won't have many choices....

yup i also noticed, now seldom dine outside, portion getting smaller, ingredients lesser, price getting pricier... the previous korean restaurant i went to was in midvalley, 2 person dine for 1xx, food so so only, and they don't accept amex...

Ikhwan is famous to be rejected.
Besides me, there are others got rejected before. Of course we have no issue with paying on time.

i applied the gold cards in june, then get the ringgit plus vouchers to spend.
since no more 5% cashback on weekends, can i terminate the card in august or september after getting the 5% cashback for july?
will there be any penalties?

or can i ask them to switch me to ikhwan card?

1.25%, i have better cards giving at least 3% lolz..
and the amex cannot be used in many places, so... i think ill give up that card..
