More of the bills can be pay by HL wise card such as utilities, mobile and petrol... just concerned about Unifi, is this can be pay through payonline with Watami 3% rebate?
Anyone try before? Otherwise, another option is walk in tm point and pay with watami card for 3%; right? |

If can pay Unifi online with visa, then you might want to take a look of UOB Vox, which have 5% cash rebate for online transaction. I pay my Maxis Fibre, Umobile and P1 using this card which is basically all online transaction that cannot be payed using MBB Amex.Anyone try before? QUOTE(amxpayne67 @ Jun 27 2015, 11:37 PM) Either their own website, or the bank's online payment. I think as long as have option to pay using cc visa, there should be no problem. UOB Vox is 5% rebate for all online transactions? Sounds good, gotta check it out since mostly I do a lot of online shopping and paying bills. |

Looks like UOB and HLB cards will gain the most advantage after Maybank revised its cash back clause.
I really don't like UOB cards but looks like I have no choice to check it out again. Maybank oh Maybank, I'm still putting the least hope on you that you will revoke your decision. |

Cash rebates will be credited into your VOX card account by the 30th of the following month and excludes insurance, government utilities & bill payments only. |

sad...why maybank do such things? you are top bank in Malaysia, even bank negara forced you to lower down the merchant fees, but rm50 per credit card members should be a pinch of your total net profit (few b)....
I thought maybank was generous in term of campaign, cash back, which made them no 1 in CCs....but now why their management made a such stupid move to lose their existing loyal customer... really shit for me this time, dont know how to settle with my future Unifi, TNB, maxis bils which every month is about rm500-rm700. My PB VS, CIMB Cash Rebate application were rejected few months ago due to high commitment... Maybe have to try UOB vox or HL wise card soon This post has been edited by red_scorpion: Jun 28 2015, 02:10 AM |

QUOTE(RokXIII @ Jun 28 2015, 01:16 AM) for UOB Vox, this is what stated in their website: The bill payment is probably for paying under UOB's bill payment because when i pay at the service provider website i do get 5% cash back. Government utilities is like paying tax, etc. No harm in trying. I'm also upset because MBB revised their Amex feature. Without 5% cash back on weekend all that's left only 5X TP which already inflated. I am conflicted to cancel the card or not.i believe unifi, electricity, water, IWC should categories as utilities? |

Wow this sucks. I use Amex to pay bills for everything that can be paid. But this weekend cashback removal really make it less desirable.
Now waiting for other cards to step up. |

QUOTE(fadzly @ Jun 28 2015, 09:09 AM) sad indeed.. damn.............. Way to spend my morning... Researching about cc 1st their treatpoints revision 2nd removal of cashback.... DAMN!!!! any others great alternatives? TS come bring new comparison review... with x5 treatpoints, i cant live without cashback! So far, I found the alternative... For annual income >RM30K Maybank Islamic MasterCard Ikhwan Gold Card = 5% cb on petrol n groceries MBBAmex = 5% dining as stated HLB Wise = 10% cb PB Visa Signature = 6% on dining, groceries and online transcation. Probably I will cancel MBBAmex and take HLB Wise (therefore increase my spending |
