Credit card newbie here. Just one question (I've searched but can't find the answer).

Is it worth it to use the credit card for merchants that charge 2% service fee on weekends? Since we get 5% cashback, simplest calculation would mean we can get 3% cashback (5% minus 2% service fee), which is still a plus rather than using cash to pay.

Is that calculation correct? I just want to know if it's better to pay by cash or credit card for merchants that charge 2% fee

Yes. Using amex card on weekends for merchants charging 2% fees. Sorry for the confusion.
Asking because my supplement store charges 2% fee (I think it's 2%), and they're open on weekend. So was wondering if I should use the card or pay by cash.

Edit: Just realized they might not even accept amex. In that case, I guess paying by cash is better

Just got sms saying my credit card application has been approved (Applied using ringgitplus on Monday last week). Anyone have any idea how long more do I have to wait to pickup the card?

Pickup at branch in Kuantan because no one's home to receive delivery. I'm guessing it'll take a while for it to arrive in Kuantan too?

Some supermarkets allow you to reload touch n go with credit card, and some could even do it with amex (most notably jaya grocers)

Anyone able to pay digi with amex in their new connect website? They abandoned the OCS to a newer site, and the new site won't accept amex as payment.

Even maybank2u won't accept amex to pay digi bills... I'm currently asking digi facebook whether they will accept amex or not in the near future.

I just got the card, but I believe it was possible to use amex to pay digi using OCS before?

Thanks. Just read the "places to use amex" thread and only found out that only digi kiosk/stores accept amex. Oh well, at least they still accept amex even if I have to go to their stores
