the CS told me can get it done within 2 days. I did changed the date, but my statement date is about 7-10 days to go when i make the request. they are quite efficient one, except the card application process la.

Thanks to u cos I took your advice and changed my statement date from 22nd to 19th., so this month I got the full CB of rm60. Since all my BT-payments are dated 22nd, they also didn't appear in my latest statement dated 19/7/15 giving me another 28 days free credit.

Has anyone tried paying TNB using PBB VS through M2U to get the cashback?

I made a small payment to test but already reached the RM50 cap due to the cashback revision. So unable to verify.

No, i have tried that, the system totally did not show PB VISA as the option for u to make the payment even after i have added PB VISA card as third party card and verified by Maybank. I have tried to make payment to Tenaga and Unifi, PB VISA no show sad.gif

guys, i'm curious about PBB VS' cashback (cb) dates smile.gif

Using herc's example, cashback credited on statement date = 17 July 2015.

1) Transactions performed on 17 June till 16 July only will be tabulated for cashback, right?
2) If transaction performed on 17 July, it's actually for next bill statement on 17 August?
3) Any issues with late posting? does it affect the cashback calculation?
4) How does the 6% cashback calculated? Per transaction? Per category? Per lumpsum in a statement? Note: assuming all transactions are within cb categories.
5) Any rounding on the cashback? Round-up? Round-down?

Thanks! thumbup.gif

Why u thinking they will offer platinum cc ? U do not have meet the min annual income?

It is better to cancel it to avoid any issue.

One advice, applies to everyone else too.

If you only wish to apply for a particular card and do not want to be offered a different one, you can make a remark on your application form and your documents. For example.

[For application of Public Bank Visa Signature credit card ONLY]

I've checked with my agent and Prudential does not have an online payment portal where we can make use of the online purchase cashback.

The card has just been approved. Yahoooo~~

QUOTE(Mr Gray @ Jul 16 2015, 07:10 PM)
When I applied for it two months ago. I had five other CC from Maybank, CIMB, Public Bank and Citibank. And I had several outstanding BT amounting  RM400++ a month with Public Bank. One car loan with Maybank and one 500k housing loan with UOB. But Public Bank still approve my VS.  I think it might also due to your debt service ratio.
*
I have zero debt, no outstanding of credit card, no housing and car loan. All were provided by parents.

QUOTE(Mr Gray @ Jul 16 2015, 07:16 PM)
What's your total limit for all cards?  Mine was 59k while annual income barely exceeds the requirement.
*
I normally request the bank to reduce my credit limit to 3 to 10K when I received my card because
I feel insecure to hold credit card with high credit limit.

Maybank 2 card platinum Visa = 3 K (reduced from 15 K)
CIMB World Mastercard = 10 K (reduced from 30 K)
Mach by Hong Leong Visa Signature and VI = 10 K (reduced from 20 K)
AmBank World Mastercard = 30 K (newly approved, will request to reduce the C.L. to 5 K upon receiving the card).
Public Bank Visa Signature = 30 K (newly approved, will request to reduce the C.L. to 5 K upon receiving the card).

My ideal total credit limit is 25 K for all cards.

Maybank - cancel it since no more attractive 5% cash back
CIMB - further reduce the C.L. to 5 K if allowed by the cs.
Mach - cancel it since the cs refuse to decrease further my C.L.
Ambank and Public bank - would try to request to reduce the C.L. to 5 K each.

Honestly speaking, I have no idea why many ppl opt to get a higher credit limit which exposes yourself
to a higher risk of credit card fraud case. Any advice?

High CL could be useful during urgent times like paying expensive medical bills, it may take some time for the banks to increase back your CL.

1) Cash back is based on posting date. Transactions posted from 18 June to 17 July is eligible.
2) Depends on posting date.
3) Depends on posting date.
4) Per spending category
5) For my observation, its round-down to 2 decimal in cash back obtained from each spending category.
