QUOTE(cybpsych @ Jul 21 2015, 11:28 AM)
guys, i'm curious about PBB VS' cashback (cb) dates smile.gif

Using herc's example, cashback credited on statement date = 17 July 2015.

1) Transactions performed on 17 June till 16 July only will be tabulated for cashback, right?
2) If transaction performed on 17 July, it's actually for next bill statement on 17 August?
3) Any issues with late posting? does it affect the cashback calculation?
4) How does the 6% cashback calculated? Per transaction? Per category? Per lumpsum in a statement? Note: assuming all transactions are within cb categories.
5) Any rounding on the cashback? Round-up? Round-down?

Thanks! thumbup.gif
*
1) Cash back is based on posting date. Transactions posted from 18 June to 17 July is eligible.
2) Depends on posting date.
3) Depends on posting date.
4) Per spending category
5) For my observation, its round-down to 2 decimal in cash back obtained from each spending category.

thanks herc, seems not much difference from HLB Wise smile.gif thumbup.gif
*
HLB Wise different at the rounding pattern, where the CB rounded to the nearest multiply of RM5, thats why u see several ppl in here are spending RM985 to get RM100 cash back.

And he was also wrong about CCRIS too as CCRIS only hold your payment history for 1 year for other banks to check. So a 1 year example would have been enough already.

bad payment record such as bounce cheque, bad cc repayment etc holds longer, bankruptcy last forever tongue.gif

Shouldn't be a problem with following methods (tested in minimum of 3x RM100 cashback promotion):
i. same account - split payment but pay with different websites. Maxis -> MaxisPay and Payonline, TM -> TM online and Payonline
ii. different account - not a problem at all.

Attached some screenshot from statement:
[attachmentid=5065282]
i. first two TM payments were to different account.
ii. Paid to same Maxis account from MaxisPay and Payonline on June 22nd.

Good luck. I'm going to compete with you for cashback for the same reason with you. biggrin.gif

I was told the 2nd time today by CS that bill payment (Telecommunication and TnG topup) not included in the everyswipe contest. Yesterday 3 of my 8 transactions were with TM & Maxis. Hope they are wrong. vmad.gif

QUOTE(guy3288 @ Oct 27 2015, 02:13 PM)
in that case my Unifi and telekom also not counted?? somebody said only UTILITIES excluded.
*
“Qualified Retail Transactions” shall include all local and overseas retail
spending, online purchases and new Zero Interest Instalment Plan (ZIIP) full
purchase amount (not monthly instalment) and exclude the transactions that
earn Cash Back under other on-going Cash Back promotion, flexipay,
balance transfer, auto-debit, recurring payments, payments for utilities,
direct marketing, insurance premiums, government related payments,
payment via www.pbebank.com and ATM, cash advance/ cash
withdrawal, quasi cash, casino transaction, interest payments, late
payment fees, finance charges, annual fees, reversals, payment to
charity(ies) and any form of service/ miscellaneous fees

https://www.pbebank.com/pdf/Promotions/tc-everyswipe.aspx

Previous round it stated bill payment is not included if not mistaken, so now debatable is whether telecommunication & multimedia is considered as utilities hmm.gif We have success case that Astro & Maxis are eligible in previous round
