Did you guys full service the aircond every once a year or every 6 months ?
*
Used to be service aircond every 6-8 months bcoz my house is next to main road. After install those pre filter i never service aircond anymore for 3 years. and the coil is still very clean and cold until now. Not sure it will spoil my aircon or not. But really save lot of money for whole house aircond.

What filter? Regardless if the indoor unit looks clean, you still need to clean the outdoor unit for optimal performance.

Hi sifus,

Can ask why my aircond running cold air, but the room just cannot cool down? Already close all doors and windows but still difficult to cool down the room. Anything I should check? Gas is ok and already technician check the whole thing found no issue for indoor and outdoor unit.

The aircond is cold but still not enough to cool down your room? Is your aircond suitable for your room size?

Did you try to run on Auto or Dry mode? It could be that the room is feeling "hot" due to excessive humidity. Malaysia has rising humidity weather at the moment: https://www.thestar.com.my/news/nation/2025...humidity-threat

I was told that Mitsubishi Electric are premium and good quality air conditioners. Anyone has good experience with Mitsubishi air-conds?

I'm using one in my living hall since 2007. I think Easy Clean Design one. So far only capacitor changed twice.

room size is 2.6m x 3.8m x 3m height with a 1hp Sharp J-tech inverter. I’m not sure on the calculation but looking at it should be enough?

Base on your description should be enough. Also, dry mode already can reduce humidity of the room.

Is the pre-filter dusty when you replace it?
I have several aircons where I need to clean the fan roller after several months because of dust but the stock air con filter is not dirty.

I have the same unit, and this behavior is normal. The compressor will run at a high speed to reach the set temperature, and then it will reduce its speed once that temperature is met.

Other than checking physical wiring, how do I know my installer using 3 wires instead 4 wires for inverter aircond. Is there any behaviour on outdoor unit like always 100% run,not adjust the speed?
