Do u guys really spend money to service ur aircon?

Or u guys just simply clean the filters by yourselves on regular basis but only pay money to get it service when it has prob such as water leaking etc.

Yes I did deep cleaning once a year. They took out everything and did a thorough cleaning. Aircond felt a lot cooler after the service.

ic. becos all the airons in the house are working fine currently. master bedroom, study room and living room. all can reach set temperature.

master bedroom - 24 degree at nite (mitsubishi 1HP non-inverter)

study room - 25 degree day time/26 degree nite time (midea 1HP non-inverter aircon - it is super cold not sure why midea aircon so powerful, becos at nite even set at 26 degree can be very cold at nite until the stage i need to off it for a while and started to get warm again then i on it back)

living room - 26 degree all the time (mitsubishi 1.5 HP non-inverter), as it is 1.5 HP aircon, although it is open space as it is open kitchen, but can tell that 1.5HP is enough to cool down the area as the 1.5HP aircon is installed at the living room area which is near to balcony. so the area of living room can feel the coldness very fast after it is turned on.. and if on long enough, it can also hit 26 set degree during daytime and can also hit 25 set temperature at nite.

but the 1.5HP aircon is still powerful enough, becos at nite i set 26 degree it is already very cold, and if beyond 12am, it feel evens colder that i started to feel uncomfortable becos too cold. sometime watch movies until i fell aslept at sofa, i will suddenly wake up becos it is way too cold.

There's a time i did my aircond full service, already hit 1 year 4 month didn't do full service, but the aircond still cold and the airflow still fine, cuz every 2 weeks clean up the filter plus turn on air purifier, later call the aircond guy to do the full service, they said my aircond not too bad but it's about time to service

Need opinion on Xiaomi Mijia AC vs Midea All Easy Pro (1hp and 1.5hp).

Overall Mijia is about RM100 cheaper if include installation (Xiaomi on Lazada offers free installation)
Midea easier to clean

Not sure about electric consumption, apps, reliability. What do you guys think?

I'm using Midea All Easy Pro 1.5hp. Previously Daikin 1HP in master room. Am not sure how consumption because other rooms got Daikin 1HP (non-inverter type). Frankly speaking this Midea inverter not as fast cold as those Midea non-inverter type 26C (installed at apartment which I rent out). Could be due to the inverter setting that slow cold up the room. These few days very hot and only set at 24C.

One thing I noticed is that Midea All Easy Pro blower wheel yet any visible dust as compare to Daikin non-inverter type despite almost 1 year usage. I switch on Midea All Easy Pro auto clean almost every one or two week. Clean up filter quite frequent which same as other brands (every one or two months). Therefore yet any chance to me to try up their user friendly function to remove out the blower wheel to wash. biggrin.gif

I use Midea All Easy Pro SmartHome app most of the time vs controller. Only use controller to turn off the aircond LED displace (app can't turn off).
