TM is now throttling BT and for sure there is no guarantee to unthrottle it in the future. TM might throttle and unthrottle BT from time to time. In another word, TM's service is getter worse and worse.

everyone I have a problem.
Why my line when the time after around 5pm, the dsl light of my modem will blink and the SNR margin for downstream are less than 9, this alway happen at night until the morning. When at the 9am to 5pm, the dsl light normally not blink. but the P2P still like throttle, only have the speed less than 10kb.

After when i throttle P2P by the tm, this problem are alway happen.
Can any occur this problem so?

Any idea to solve it?
The phone line cable are arealdy change to new. Are that also effect by the modem?
My modem brand are Prolink 9000p and aztech 305eu, both are use more than 3 years.
Will this modem are outdate to support the dsl line?

Can any one give some idea for solve the problem.

there is probably a problem with your connection caused by the traffic shaping hardware at your telephone exchange. call tmnut customer service and complain about your connection and tell them to send a technician to your house to check it.

TMNUT confirm doing p2p throttle liau no more doubts, minute ago i they call me then i phyco them to tell out the true and yes they admit it was the p2p throttle on the international gateway. they and i was very fierce to them because my 7 coporate line was infected with the traffic shaping and the throttle they were doing, she got scare and start calling me as mr.ng :star: where as i told them i'm steven...hahahaha it's so funny

they call you mr ng because they thought you were me. they probably got confused because you taruh them same way as i did to them. did tmnut say anything else about p2p throttle?

ask them to make official announcement. this thing is not over yet. TM must responsible to customers. TM must promise us when TM will unthrottle BT or throttle BT permantently ?? we are now unsafe to use streamyx.

No use to apology from TM. this will not bring any solutions. They must call very customer with title "mr" or "mrs/madam".

hahahahaha this is so funny i taruh them kaw kaw until she said, they are having bandwidth problem so they got no choice to throttle all the international p2p and also http connection, then i told her that is really stupid then she keep quiet and i told her that's not the way to do it, because if they do that those ppl who register the line for business will be infected, and also not to forget the stupid upgrade from you all, give 2mb of free upgrade but still capped at 1mb what's the point of doing that, isn't that is just a waste of bandwidth and she got abit nervous when i tell her that, from the way she answer my question, and before i could finish taruh her, she say ok mr.ng (i was like wtf ) i'll ask the technical person to call you. then tu tu tu tu (hang up already)

that is very funny they call you mr ng after you taruh them like that but very rude of that girl to hang up the phone before you can finish talking. anyway they also told me that a technician will call me but so far nobody call me. please tell us if a technician call you and let us know what the technician say to you.

thank you for reporting. if they don't call you back you can also complain to cfm and tell cfm they ignore your complain so cfm can send a letter to their ceo to taruh them.

just got an update from cfm. they say, tmnut does not gurantee any problems with the international link and p2p downloads. they say tmnut is only responsible for domestic traffic only. they also recommend us to email cfm if tmnut still does not give you the speed you pay for so they can show it to tmnut's ceo and their management just how bad their service is. they recommend email because they can't write down everything on the phone if you talk to them.

i think it is an outrage that tmnet dare to say they only give internet service for domestic use only. it is totally ridiculous. those dimwits at tmnut don't even know the meaning of internet.

I'm curious why in my area, some ppl can use p2p at their max speed, n some suffer as me...
I'm thinking whether nuts throttle based on usage.
I find those not suffering, they r not using BT frequently, one of my friends is like that.
I wonder now...

you are right to cari pasal. tmnet is run by uneducated people who don't know the meaning of internet. call them and give them all the f-word for us. when you call ask to speak to their manager and don't waste time talking to the CS person. when the manager speak to you, ask him or her if they know the meaning of internet or not. if they still give you that same stupid excuse the tmnet is only responsible for domestic use only, then tell them if you are not responsible if you take your own sweet time paying your bill.
