How long tmnut will keep this bt shaping?
tmtnut should give official writing to msian that they dont support bt and put in their advertisement.
very pity to new user if their intention subcribing streamyx just to bt.

"I think a lot of people feel broadband is only for e-mailing, surfing and downloading stuff from the internet - they have yet to truly realise its full potential," he said.

bt people do realise the full potential of bb via p2p application
but tmnut shaping, throttling and capped the full potential

QUOTE(sholtsy @ Nov 2 2006, 10:49 AM)
Hello,
everyone I have a problem.
Why my line when the time after around 5pm, the dsl light of my modem will blink and the SNR margin for downstream are less than 9, this alway happen at night until the morning. When at the 9am to 5pm, the dsl light normally not blink. but the P2P still like throttle, only have the speed less than 10kb.

After when i throttle P2P by the tm, this problem are alway happen.
Can any occur this problem so?

Any idea to solve it?
The phone line cable are arealdy change to new. Are that also effect by the modem?
My modem brand are Prolink 9000p and aztech 305eu, both are use more than 3 years.
Will this modem are outdate to support the dsl line?

Can any one give some idea for solve the problem.

QUOTE(TM.net @ Nov 8 2006, 07:42 AM)
Come on la... I think tmnet would make a hell lot more profit if not because of the government. Most GLC not only TM have an obligation to support governments projects. Broadband is one of them. WHy do you think other ISP are not that eager to offer broadband nationwide? Offering bb is not cheap and not that profitable. Especially to people who complaint a lot...

If not backing by government, tmnet will not dare throttle customer account.
cos the money come from customer.
due to goverment backing, they dont mine throttling customer account cos the government will suport them in term of money in case no profit being generate.
if tmnet is really independant businessman, tmnet should not doing p2p throttle becos customer always right. vmad.gif

For sure now u are working at tmnet. cos all yr post were posted during office hour.

why cant we switch to download caps(ie 80gb per month) and unthrottle bandwidth? like so many other countries are doing. We want to be developed , no? *sigh*
*
Cos tmnet dont have money to buy biggger bandwitdh
if the bandwitdh still the same with current bandwitdh now
all tmnet user will more rugi paying the money for 80Gb
where tmnet user only can dl very little with the current bandwitdh vmad.gif
