Read above post again for answers, it may not sink in the first time.

breakfast: 3 eggs, 2 sausages, baked beans
lunch & dinner: chap fan since i'm a student and out most of the time. lots of rice and meat (preferably not fried), tofu and vege. some dinners home cooked food (brown rice, lots of chicken, vege).

nothing really fixed yet as its a busy period now.
mostly consists of weights, pull ups, pushups (sets of 50) and this ab exercise (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JN7LuzqLoGc).

guys i think ure missing the point. im seeing improvements with what im already doing. i just wanna take it further.
the question i am asking is that im looking at all these diff weight gain products and would like to go for them as an additional supplement, where should i start since there are so many in the market.

As long as you're putting in weight and resistance training, I won't worry about you putting on excess fat as weight instead of muscle. I was worried you might just had listed jogging as your workout.

Don't bother with weight gainer supplements. Really. If you wanted extra carbs you could just eat more. Don't buy into marketing. If you're thinking of taking it further, you could try out protein powders. Your protein intake could be improved as Asian diet is notoriously low in protein and higher in carbs. With protein, you're feeding your muscles and building a better physique as well as gaining weight, rather than just becoming fat.

There's no such thing as genetics preventing you from gaining weight. Those who want to gain weight can always put in some effort to read this thread, it's almost 60 pages of info.

Everyone who skinny says they eat a lot. This is almost never true.

Sometimes those underweight ppl said they ate A LOT, but then their A LOT is very little actually

Mind to list down what you eat and how much you eat daily.
*
I suspect their version of a lot is some bread for breakfast, noodles for lunch and some rice and veg for dinner.

lol, just exercise more and eat normally. eating more supper will only stress ur system when they need rest
Weight gain invovles eating more too. The statement that supper stresses the system is false as your digestive system never sleeps. Old wives tale.

QUOTE(kei18kun @ Jan 29 2011, 07:18 AM)
drinking milk is not a good solution since it contains alot of chemicals in it
i would recommend drinking protein based on vege
*
Chemicals which are good for us. If it is bad, post the facts and prove it.

QUOTE(kei18kun @ Jan 29 2011, 07:18 AM)
also taking more protein will caused u higher osteoporosis

Again, false statement.

lol, u claim all my statement is false, do put in the prove
well, science is always changing all the time, just believe wat u want then, if u use ur common sense, u'll see
exercise, eat balance meal and sleep early...u'll see result in few months time  thumbup.gif

I am using my common sense, as well as medical knowledge. Which is why I'm calling your statements false.
Disgestive system never sleeps - Medical textbooks or even your Biology books
Milk contains harmful chemicals - Prove this and you'll get on the cover of TIME magazine

In a debate, the onus is on you to prove your statements. I dismissed them as false based on the above reasons. I await your proof to support the statements, the medical world awaits you to rock their world.

The standard cookie-cutter advice to answer almost every problem on H&F. Well meaning, but ultimately not very useful.

Assuming you eat enough, yes.
But the vast majority, myself included, think we eat enough good food when we don't.

Morning - 2 Roti canai .
Afternoon - Full plate rice , meat , fried chicken and squid , Cabbage .
Late Evening - Full plate rice , fried chicken some taugeh . -.-"
Supper - white Bread , half of the medium size gardenia . plus milo .  whistling.gif

Upgrade your roti canai to roti relur or sardin. Keep up the same dishes and quantity you posted everyday and your weight should go up, unless you're already over 80kgs.

Those who try to gain weight but end up with a big tummy…

How do you guys get rid of those fat at your belly?

Just by doing workouts will do the trick?
*
Get a weight training program from the Bodybuilding section and stick to it while you gain weight.
That'll ensure you come out looking built rather than fat.

QUOTE(Seybold @ Aug 23 2011, 05:42 PM)
Does eat 6 times per day will really gain weight?
I only 177cm but 53kg only.. Is possible in 3 month gain 15kg?
*
Assuming the total calories of what you eat 6 times per day is more than your usual 3, yes you will gain.
If your 6 small meals don't at all match the bigger 3 meals, then no.
