Recently saw some messages in internet saying unifi giving offer to broadband package like RM39 for 30 MB and 79 for 100MB something like that but didn't ss down. Wonder any 1 has the link and can Maxis Fibre package change to it since so cheap? Mine using TM line but Maxis bill.

Maybe we can share our technique of configuring the btu. Ive used almost 1 year. So far so good

Anyway, configuring btu is not supported by both TM & Maxis.
I notice Maxis has reset my VOIP password, and they do not provide VOIP password to me anymore.

in the latest firmware of Maxis router, you can set a daily reboot. If that helps!.

This is good, how and where to set? mine is the new maxis black standing type router, got 5g signal 1.

if yours is Tplink Archer C5v or AC1200, then just login as administrator and go to System Tools -> Reboot option.

Did your guys having speed issue with custom router direct connect to the btu? I only get 3-4mbps with my custom router (openwrt), below my vlan switch configuration, is it wrong? I fwd back vlan822 on port 2 and connect anemia for voip.

On Maxis VDSL-Fibre....every hours disconnect and I get a new IP.

So frustrated since I need to manually update my smart DNS service to watch US Netflix.

Anyone recently applied to switch from UniFi to Maxis? Someone said there is a new procedure whereby must apply switching at Maxis center.

By right there is no "switch" option.

The safest way is apply Maxis first, after maxis installation done and test internet ok, then proceed terminate unifi.

wonder if the new installation will include the FWS(fiber wall socket) or not....

What's a Fiber wall socket ?
They just connect fiber cable from the telephone pole to your TM BTU modem only.

There is switch transition. Unifi to maxis.. No overlap charges pay till the day maxis installed.

Now there is. Just called Maxis yesterday and was told to go through the switch option as it is a new procedure by TM. No more form will be provided for Unifi termination if you installed Maxis Fibre through new application.

No more FWS. Installation is the same as Unifi since it is TM's technician doing the fibre installation.

How long does it take for the switch process?

installed maxis then they give u a slip to go unifi to settle with them

i recall both are prorated according to date installed. Maxis router just plugged into unifi btu
