wan to check any 1 using maxis fiber with astro IPTV? i had a dilemma of choosing between unifi and maxis fiber. currently my astro comes with pvr + satellite dish. I saw there's promo where apply maxis fiber and get rebate off the astro for RM 25 per month. the downside is i had to change to IPTV, cant use the satellite. But my astro decoder is downstair and my fiber is upstair, i really dont wanted to pull another cable. I saw tp-link there's device powerline or something. any 1 using similar setup?

You can try this TP-LINK TL-WPA4220KIT product which I had reviewed here.

You plug and connect the TL-PA4010 to your router (upstairs).
You plug and connect the TL-WPA4220 to your Astro decoder (downstairs) via Ethernet cable.

You can also try the TL-WPA4230P KIT which has integrated power sockets ensure no power outlet is going to waste.

Hope more cancel Maxis Home Fibre so that I can stay and enjoy more "backbone bandwidth" since less users. Can't wait if Maxis will "double my speed"

Hello, is there a setting on the Technicolor router to have a scheduled restart? e.g. switch off the modem every day at 2AM and turn it back on at 7AM?

Buy a timer for the adaptor to the Technicolor router

Maxis, please stop wasting your time calling for your subscribers to upgrade to 20mbps for 159 for your existing 10mbps 118 customers  ...its a crappy deal.

With the many value added free calls in the 118 package, you should at least make an effort to substitute those with a faster speed upgrade to entice your customers to upgrade....

So unless you are prepared  to offer 159 for 30mbps for your existing customers, don't bother calling...

If not for ports being full at my place, I'd upgraded to unifi 50mbps upgrade long ago...

Super agree +100
We should get 20Mbps without paying extra... or at least +RM10 to get double speed to your current package

Just got my plan upgraded from 10Mbps to 30Mbps.
Unfortunately speed test still show 10Mbps.
Does TmNut need to change their back end ?
