For Lazada RM500 promo, the "eligible spend" is very easy...
Includes bill payment, Cash Advance!!, Balance Transfer!!, installment plan
It only requires spending RM1500 previously, now RM2000...

I never have any experience with balance transfer before. Anything interesting with HSBC balance transfer promotion? Please advise.

yeap happen to me too, missed 1 month didn't swipe, but had many swipe in august and spent more than 20k, still need to manually call none 24hours hsbc CS to ask for waiver, then CS told me waiver will be reflected in next statement, so i got to pay 240 first...

Yes, no need minimum 1 swipe a month. As long as there are total 12 swipes a year.

actually the more interesting qns here is that if the swipes applicable to both online purchase and retail or it is just purely for retail.

not cancel the card. cancel card is fast. just to combine the cancel card credit limit from the card to my remaining card it takes time.

Based on T&C, it will be given between 4-8 weeks.
Checked back my record, got my card in mid Feb, fulfilled the spending almost immediately, got the voucher in early Apr.
So approx. 6 weeks

Yes. I applied through the HSBC website and this is the email address they used to contact me asking for supporting docs. I assume you replaced the o with 0.

Just remember to use it at least once a month for the entire year for annual fee waiver if you don't want hassles, regardless of what their website say. This is what the personnel told me when I mentioned their website says 12 times a year for eMpower. If 12 times a year, you have to call their support to get a waiver.

Unrelated to the above - what you guys said is real. Was at a shopping mall (I rarely go) and their promoters were chasing after me, especially the girl. Already apply still ask me to apply again.

After apply online, they will call back and ask for all details through phone (IC, add, mother's name etc).
A bit scary to give all these info.
Few days later I call back to confirm she is from HSBC and this is their SOP.

weird, the reversal of rm240 immediately reflected one day later.
