when i applied for lazada promo via hsbc online application, i was offered for this BT, but i did not accept the BT offer..
so u may apply online via hsbc if you want the offer.

i would suggest to keep for 9 months, then only cancel.
for me, i will canx after 1 year, dont want later being blacklisted for just getting freebies, so in future will be no issue re-apply to get freebies

u may choose not to activate the card, after six months this card will no longer able to activate
it's better just to call and cancel the card

the hsbc card u applied, does it eligible for the lazada voucher 300 (spend any amount) and 500 (spend 1k within 60days)?

u better call hsbc cs to find out... my lazada voucher i got it by apply hsbc card via hsbc website by choosing the specific promo

no need to use hsbc card in order to spend with 500 lazada voucher

FYI, not worth to use this card to pay for ptptn, there are other cashback cards out there with higher rebate

1] after u activate and spend 1k within 60days, after u spent 1k, call CS inform them u met the requirement, ask them when will they email u the lazada voucher code, they will answer within 4 weeks

2] i waited for mine on the 4th week after i spent 1k

3] any spending as long as the amount is 1k

and after u enjoyed the benefit, pls dont cancel the card straight away, wait after 9 months then cancel, to avoid being "blacklisted" for future card application if you still want to get signup offer

better ask those who always apply to get signup gifts then cancel after received gifts, see if they got "blacklisted" end up unable to apply card...

i only cancel after 9months if the card totally useless and got af on 2nd year, else will keep for 1year or longer if no af or got benefits
