i having a hsbc credit card amanah i, they are charging me annual fee, is it possible to waive the annual fee?

I was at MidValley last Sunday, passed by the HSBC promo booth in the center court. The promoter approached me and asked me to apply, but I told her that I already have Visa Plat and Amanah Plat.

She then told me that I can apply to upgrade my 2 current Plat cards to Signature instead.

I was a bit skeptical as she said I will be issued 2 new cards later and my current CL will be combine.

Anyone have done this?

Just got my latest statement for Visa Plat and saw annual fee of Rm240 was charged.

Call them up and asked for a waiver they checked my payment pattern all was on time and was told it will be waived 

upgrade my Visa plat to Visa Signature at Mid valley... Application take almost 1 month to approve ... I'm existing card holder .. good payment record for all my cc... Take 1 month to approve still ok la..... The most regret is they approved Visa Gold for me ... I don't need Visa Gold .. the benefit almost same with Visa Plat... Call the Agent... she said don't know about this... ask me to wait for the card arrive than request to upgrade...waste time     

What can i do ??

Receive call from 0326909200 said got important message from HSBC ask to call 1300881121. Double check online should be scam.

It seems that my 5x 8x points didnt tally up! And I spent less than RM3000 in the malls!

The 5X /8X Reward Points on Eligible Spend will be credited into the primary Eligible Cardholder‘s Participating HSBC Credit Card account within 6 weeks after the end of each Participating Month.

does anyone know where I can go to redeem my reward points online?

By the way that day i went to Mid Valley and ask a HSBC staff that i've applied for Amanah via online and using the card but why not LAZADA Voucher?

He said the voucher limited only. Means can't get?

Hi, just received my Visa Signature yesterday - contemplating whether or not to use it?

How does one know if we will be able to redeem the 100k points? Well under their T&C they indicated that the points will only be credited after the end of campaign - what if i end up with 0 points hmmmh...

Also, got the 0% installment loan at 12k. Not sure what to do with it. First time receiving loan from a credit card, is there any penalty for early prepayment??

Hey, I applied for Visa Signature HSBC, but I guess I didn't meet the requirements and got HSBC visa platinum instead. I have a lot of online transactions, before I activate the card, is there any downsides to this visa platinum which seems to onlyget points at malls and even that also I'm sure got some restriction.

If not what other banks should I try?

I did some research and most of the cashbacks all need minimum swipes to even hit the highest cashback value, which I won't be able to swipe so high consistently.

Any advice is appreciated.

Unlike other banks we can submit all complete details in one shot..

Wah, this CS is really bad. Yeah, mine wasn't waived automatically despite fulfilled the criteria. However, upon voicing out, the CS wasn't defensive at all and straight apologized for the inconvenience caused to me and told me she will waive immediately and asked to put me on hold while she was doing the formality. Luckily, I didn't need to go through what you experienced. Sorry sis to see this happening to you. And yeah their hotline really sucks like there's no tomorrow. That's why if possible I wanna avoid calling them. 

If I’m a existing HSBC Amanah Mpower Platinium credit cardholder, do I still eligible to get lazada voucher RM500 if I try to apply one more hsbc card during this promotion period?
