Anyone knows about the HSBC RM500 lazada voucher code?

https://sp.hsbc.com.my/lazada500

You're supposed to receive the code in email. From some earlier post, it takes around 6 weeks after you meet the minimum 2000 spending criteria. Could make it faster if you call their customer service.

Haha. Who doesn't?

Not sure what is credit advance. Balance Transfer? Cash Advance? T&C says you can do BT. BT will cost you 2% per annum if you're a new customer.

Tip ah. Wait until you have something expensive to buy. Then only apply. Or prepay your bills. That's all I could think of, without spending good money to chase after "bad" money.

Yea I think it’s balance transfer haha. Sorry never had a credit card before. Yes I agree with you that’s why I’m trying to not spend unecessary money just to get the Lazada voucher

I think you need at least 2 cards to do balance transfer. Card 1 transfer to Card 2.

Oh yeah, other than Lazada wallet, you can also try load money into BigPay. Quite famous here.

If you're just interested in the voucher, there are other options. Citibank has some offer for new customers. Public Bank also has RM288 (need to spend $150 per card with 2 cards), signup for autopay, spend another $88 and you get another $88 voucher. So spend a total of $388 and you get $376 vouchers. Citibank is something like buy $750, pay with the card and automagic deduct $500. So you pay $250 only for a $750 item. Or apply RHB through RinggitPlus and you get an Oppo phone.

ohh, is it. coz i read the TNC some where device only available for those having saving acc with HSBC.

So far never tried any online bill payment before. But i did for lazada payment, no issue having otp.

For the benefits of others, the Security Device is required if you want to use HSBC Online Banking, even with your credit card.

It's required to Add Payee although the "What is the difference between Login with Security Device and Login with passwords? Click here for quick assistance" says you can do it with the Password login.

It should work without the Security Device for non HSBC-online-banking as any other credit card would. If it doesn't, who wants it? tongue.gif

I must've mixed up HSBC with Public Bank. Sorry about that. This has been corrected.
