The problem is how  you pay back to your hsbc?
Can use Bigpay pay back to hsbc card?
Sure bank will don't know why you want that.
Even through bank will know your reason to want that card, but bank will do their procedure whether to approve or reject to give you card.

Anyway, I prefer the previous T&C for amanah CB card. Nowadays this amanah CB card is not much attractive, some-more need to spend more to get CB.

because and actually i was aiming their 2nd lazada rm500, wahahahaha

Since I left with two months of 0% cash installment (one month has been posted) and my card anniversary is next month, I have never used this card for any transaction besides paying for this monthly installment; so I called CS to check if I can clear off the remaining two months' outstanding without incurring any penalty.

He said this cash installment plan can be early terminated at any time without any penalty and will take around 3-5 working days to effect, I will receive a call from another CS once this is done. Then i can proceed with the payment and request to cancel the card as I have no intention to keep this Amanah card anymore. I will still retain the VS which is more useful for me.

Thanks for sharing this info. I have the exact same question.

I've been introduced to this card by iMoney while inquiring another product yesterday.
CIP sound like a good alternative to BT and I'm waiting for HSBC to call me back on it.

I applied this card solely for this purpose only. True 0% and no hanky panky. tongue.gif

According to T&C is you will need to swipe at least 12x per year, 12 consecutive months. In simpler term, it means you need to use at least once per month then it will be auto waived.

For the Visa Sig, when there's no good monthly CB/discount deals, I charge RM1 a month into BP.

Ic. Last time I applied the visa signature is also for that purpose but I already have another card that comes with priority pass for free, one year can enter two lounges worldwide for free including bolehland and lion city which is good enough for me since I dun travel overseas more than one time a year.

I see... since you planning to hold HSBC Amanah Card, is it looking for cash back card ??

Can consider other purely cash back card instead of HSBC Amanah Card, more beneficial than it, FYI

no. I have Maybank 2 card and fcb card which can cover more than enough of my expenses monthly since it Is usually rm1k++ only. In addition to these card, I have scb cash back MasterCard also.

Main reason to keep the amanah one is becos between visa signature and it, I will likely to use it. But like u said, the benefit of it is little comparing to any other cash back card.

But since I am not using also, so keeping whichever card actually makes no difference now. just personally prefer to keep cash back card than reward point card.

Importantly, I need to cancel one of them before September to avoid the rm25 charge.

I just need to keep one of the card to preserve my credit limit with them although I dun really use HSBC card.

My application took almost a month to approve and CIP money was in my account before I received the card.

I last week receive SMS mentioned will deliver cc within 10 days.
So basically activate the card, must compulsory phone call to activate?

Or can use online internet to activate the card?
