I don't recall it was so difficult. https://www.hsbc.com.my/vs Scroll down to the page to FAQ, isn't this page should be your first place to drop by to check out?

Yes, auto-debit is considered as swipe.

Hey, I applied for Visa Signature HSBC, but I guess I didn't meet the requirements and got HSBC visa platinum instead. I have a lot of online transactions, before I activate the card, is there any downsides to this visa platinum which seems to onlyget points at malls and even that also I'm sure got some restriction.

If not what other banks should I try?

I did some research and most of the cashbacks all need minimum swipes to even hit the highest cashback value, which I won't be able to swipe so high consistently.

Any advice is appreciated.

just received my visa platinum card , however , it does not state any annual fees waived , anyone can confirm ? paying rm254.40 every year for this card seems not really worth it.

Got a call from HSBC CS one day before election asking me if I want to add HSBC VS. No documents required, she just read through T&C. Today received SMS, it is already approved. Wee. Gotta cut off my Amanah card soon. At least this VS gives PPL. rclxms.gif
