Just activated the HSBC Amanah card.

Gotta spend RM1,000 to get RM200 cashback (www.hsbcamanah.com.my/zero)

Wondering does Professional Membership Subscription Fee qualifies as "Eligible" spend.

I have applied for the 0% balance transfer under the mass acquisition programme and have been paying 5% monthly. Will there be any penalty if I make early settlement? Am thinking of canceling the card prior to its anniversary to avoid the annual fees. Remembered seeing some posts mentioning cannot use the card if got BT otherwise retail transaction will be charged interest .. thanks

And so, its now 2018 and as of today, my application is still in "pending" status... mad.gif

I don't know what else to do except to call them every two days.

Hmmm, the only reason now I'm still pursuing and waste my time talking to HSBC people.

I called HSBC CS to change the SMS alert to RM1, but they told that the default is RM100 and we cannot go lower than that. Anyone tried?

Just call 1300 80 2626 or 603 8321 5200 and quote them your IC number. They will try to help (although in my case, they weren't very helpful) haha. Keep telling me "in progress" and "in final stages of approval".
