Yes, I submitted documentations on 24/11 and have yet to received any response.

Thanks for the info.
Anyway, I am still waiting for my app status. I called and they said it's in its final process. They said could be due to year end back log. The bank staff called me on 3 weeks ago for verification and asked me to upload documents on the same day by giving me a link. I did on the next day. Then no news until now. So.... I am still waiting. It's been 18 working days.
They say it's still in progress and everything is in order so I don't owe them any documents. They too are surprised how come its taking unusually long. However, when I asked if its rejected, they said No. Just asked me to wait for sms and card will be sent to my home address (they double-confirmed my home address as well). I am beginning to want to "forget it" :-p |

Called them last week and called them Monday as well. I got "in progress", "in final stage of approval", "in final process" - these kind of answers lah. Tired of calling already.

I called them many times, they asked me to just wait as they are "processing". They are trying to contact my office for verification. I asked if there have issues, I can point them to the person in charge directly. They said no, no issue. If got issue, they will let me know. I asked the person to escalate, she said she can only do it next week as person in charge is on leave.
Anyway, I told her that HSBC has won the "longest processing time" award for cc application. I think it's bad for us because in CCRIS, it will show "pending" for a particular credit limit amount, and if this limit is high, it will affect any other loan application that you may have at this point of time.
Imagine you have a RM xx k limit "pending approval" in CCRIS, I think other banks considering your loan will take this into consideration in your approval or amount approved. Just call 1300 80 2626 or 603 8321 5200 and quote them your IC number. They will try to help (although in my case, they weren't very helpful) haha. Keep telling me "in progress" and "in final stages of approval".

I called the number you stated 03-20599930 this morning. This number was given to me by the call center. The call agent asked me to call to the tele marketing directly to ask.
I called tele-marketing, they took down my number and told me they will call me back but they didn't. I am losing patience. Right now, I just want some closure.
