3month to receive the reward then another 3month will prepare for cancellation....

Applied T1 card in The Gardens last Thursday and just got the approval via SMS. The person said there’s a promotion of RM 150 cash back for existing customers.

1. I applied a HSBC cc and got approved and activated but I don't see any credit card details in the HSBC app. Does anyone happen to know why?
2. I added the CC in apple pay but my only way of verification is calling the 1300-.... line which will lead to the next question...
3. How to reach their customer service executive (???) and how to verify my apple pay

Hsbc now so strict
dont allow u to cancel the card even tho only have af in it.
Cs insist that need to settle the full card balance then only can raise cancellation request.
Luckily have another card with 0 balance then only can get the chance talk to the retrention team

You mean you need to pay AF then allow you to cancel?

Yup. Same goes for SST. They force u to pay even tho you didnt use the card ever since SST is charged when you trying to cancel the card.

This is absurd. So it’s advisable to cancel before they charge?

Yup. If no plan to keep the card better cancel before anything is charged.
