Just received a SMS a few minutes ago with a single pin for the RM600 TnG eWallet. Weird enough there's no indication whatsoever that the SMS comes from RinggitPlus or HSBC.

Nice, Tng pin is more direct. It should be from RP.

got a call yesterday from HSBC Telemarketer. genuinely not annoyed because he was offering 0% BT for 3 months. even though 3 months is abit short, still good because it's 0%. too bad my big purchase so far is with affin converted to 12 months 0% instalment.

he say will call me end of month again. LOL. which i was fine with it.

I had similar offer before but based on my understanding, the BT period is minimum 6 months. There is zero charges for the first 3 months. That's why i didn't take the offer.

I didn't really keep track when the card was approved for me. Applied on 12-JAN-22, did the first transaction on 31-JAN-22, fulfilled the required minimum RM1K transaction (eWallet excluded) on 8-FEB-22 & received the RM600 pin SMS on 8-APR-22.

Is the annual fee of RM240 charged upon credit card activation for HSBC Amanah MPower Platinum? or the fee is charged 1 year after but waived if swiped more than 12 times?? Thanks in advance..

Annual fee is upfront payment. Check if the 1st year AF is waived, usually it is. If you swiped 12x, the AF for next year is waived, that's the mechanism.

I kena too but not amazon. Chatted with CS and he asked to fill in online dispute form. How can lah somebody knew my card and 3 digits behind card. Lol.

Done report to cs. Cs straight away block and send new card replacement.

I want to cancel because rarely used the card, and need to pay RM25 service tax somemore.
The CS offer me to make 3x transaction with no minimum amount, then they will credit back the RM25 within 8-12 weeks.
Is it true? Anyone knows about this?

CS told me not to use ew..Not sure if they really exempt ew from the 3x, but using it on small ticket retail items just to be safe
