If apply directly from HSBC website, is 1st year annual feee waived? Say for the Mpower Amanah Platinum card

If they never change the T&C then it is waived for first year.

Anyone receive anything from play and win campaign yet?

I was informed that HSBC Year End RM 800 Shopee eVoucher campaign (required 10 transactions) exclude e-wallet top up. Is that true? I even double confirm with customer service before and they told me any transaction without mention about e-wallet top up. And now I check with customer service again, she said that e-wallet top up is excluded. And now I have past 60 days already. Seems like I have miss the welcome bonus?

Usually there's a PDF of the campaign T&C that you can refer to. AFAIK, most spend campaign for HSBC excludes eWallets.

I always find and read full T&C when I want to join certain credit card campaign. But somehow I cannot find this campaign full T&C. So I called and asked the Customer Service.

I can see in the T&C says exclude ewallet top up. Must always verify yourself, assume CS know nothing. Rugi RM800. Should just pay small value TNB bill 10 times

I couldn't find it either so I called the CS back then. The CS said all HSBC cards first year annual fee are waived. Not sure if anything changed for this year though. To be sure, you can call CS to ask also.

btw, the entries is like related to your spending. spend more, more entries etc. but playing it is very tedious leh
