you need to call customer service to ask that, but it may be possible if they rank the point card and the cashback card equally.

I top up just past 12am. the regret should not be on the top up timing, it is within their campaign period, regret should be thinking their system is better than TNG...both also prone to system crash and errors...

Maybe raise another ticket to a different department. Think this one should be handled by marketing/loyalty department.
From your replies, the officer likely does not care and doesn't want to handle your case. Just want to bs and close ticket to increase his tickets resolved.

Not only HSBC, pretty much most banks due to it being under a particular MCC code...cant remember what it was. read it somewhere on the forum.

Next time note down what card you are referring to, this is a general hsbc card thread, not a specific card thread.. anyway did you meet the minimum spend of 2k?

Well its possible, compare the merchant name in your statement for this month and last month then check with the customer service.

Havent seen anyone report that issue for hsbc card yet though...or may have missed it.
