Hi all, I just collected my card yesterday as a new-to-bank customer and need to spend RM1,000 within 60 days to receive the campaign gift from RinggitPlus. The T&Cs state that this spend excludes e-wallet top ups so my question is whether top up to KiplePay is considered as e-wallet top up?

The bank officer that called me to explain the campaign details was not able to provide me the list of e-wallets and she went blur when I asked whether it is based on MCC.

WhatsApp is enough to complete application. Mine was followed by a call directly from HSBC on the same day to get my personal details and request some documents. I got a follow up call from RinggitPlus to cross sell other banks' credit cards and personal loans so may not be important to answer.

I redeemed a total of 8 scoops today with 2 cards and 4 visits at 3 outlets in 2 malls lol, of which 2 visits I brought a friend so I only ate 6.

I saw someone redeemed 2 with 2 cards and the banker said can redeem 1 per card too not per person but I let my friend hold my card anyway. I also overheard the banker telling the couple in front of me that you can come back later and repeat as today is the last day. Probably they have allocated a redemption quota and it is underutilised.

Don't think the staff/banker can remember as the lines at most outlets are long except 1 outlet at Sunway Pyramid without banker and long line since Sunway Pyramid has 2 outlets.

I was in all the queues since the banker openly said can repeat and staff were rushing anyway to clear the long queue. By the time I wanted to say tq the staff already gone.

Yes! They were asking to apply for additional credit card to get additional scoop.
