Job may be easy if you are in SG but permit application may not be.

As in you may get the job , you may not get a permit.

Honestly is a good entry to SG , work for a while first then think about moving on, as not many got offered such an opportunity , some even tried sending hundreds of resume still no news .

need more info. what industry u in, what position? only then can judge if $2,500 is reasonable.
easy to find, up to u. if u are capable, companies sure will want to hire u. but do note that they would prefer PR/SG'reans, as some companies dont like to deal with paperwork/admin and the hassle of obtaining an EP for u.

Thanks for the reply and advice. It is an IT project coordinator role.

I dont think i will be going for it though, as my current salary in Malaysia is almost twice of that and i do have some commitments.

Thanks smile.gif

if it is twice forget about it , take on only if 5 - 20% (max) diff from your current pay , going to SG doesn't mean you need to sacrifice your life style

Hello guys, just need to ask something, do anyone here commute to work from jb to singapore by motorcycles?

Just need to know when is a subtle time to go out from house, when i'm staying in Larkin Perdana to my work place at Jurong Island. And I have to report to work by 7.30am.

I do have a motorcycle that has been registered to ride in singapore, just i didn't know how was the situation at the causeway in the morning, as i'll be start my job in 17 november. Please do advise me thank you.

I believe what he meant by the *3 is the conversion rate of currencies.

typical la.. Chinaman company love to import msian FT.. as they look same same as Sinkie, speak like them summore but only 1/4 of the cost. Doesn't complain, takes on more responsibility, not lazy.. Ofcoz who dowan?

I think depends on his experience and career progression la.. if don't mind to kena exploited by Singaporean Chinaman, in exchange for learning on the job, I'd say take it.. the experience is invaluable and worthwhile. Can apply for better job after a few years.

I.E. me.. kena exploit by my Sinkie chinaman company kau kau... end of year, flip them the middle finger jump at better offer/reputable position.

So nice, I am living a prison life in MY but a free life in SG with my SG wages. Driving a 15 years old Japanese car in MY but in SG I drive a car worth a bungalow in MY but never worry to get carjack or window smashing.

You need to fill up. They will ask you come in for what. Just show them the IPA. Fill in 30 days on your white card.

After you done medical check, you will need to register with MOM (thumbprint + photo). There you will need to surrender your White card. They will chop on your IPA. After that only you can enter/exit without white card.

Oh ya, what about if the Medical Required column states: Declaration? Meaning just signing the declaration form should be sufficient, right?
