Anyone encountered this before? At traffic lights, still at "D", but car cannot move...CVT warning light came up. Had to switch off engine and re-start, then everything back to normal.

Should I be concerned? Which SC in JB to go to for best problem solving?

Thanks!

Hi, i'm a new Exora Bold owner received my car last month and just curious to know that does it comes with free service for labor charges and parts? because i've sent the car for 1000km 2 day ago for a service, they say proton only offer "free labor charges" and does not include "parts", RM140 for Semi oil and filter change only.

Check with your sale agent, mine 2014 with free services for 3 years which have 7 voucher, first 3 @ 95 (as no labour charge), thereafter @ 165?. Under free service, only mineral oil provided if upgrade semi need to pay around 30-40.

exora purchased over different periods of time have different levels of included 'free' service/warranty.
those from early 2015 only gives free labor for first 3 services (1k,5k,10k) and 3 years warranty.
sometimes (or rarely), your sales person may give you voucher for free items during service (eg: oil filter).

currently they are giving 7 years extended warranty for most proton models. good news for new potential owners.
but please dont mistake 'extended warranty' for meaning not having to pay anything at all when you send your cars to the service centers.

My EPDM engine room seal:

EB front brake pads. Very rare, keep it for your reference in case you want to go shopping.

Something new, there's a secondary oxygen sensor but not in use. Located behind engine, can be accessed from wheel arch. If connected, it detects catalytic converter failure... something very expensive, and I think Proton cannot bear the cost.

Just made an appointment for 20,000km service at Sexaxis proton SC @ Taman Mayang for this Thursday.
Decided to try it out after seeing a good number of positive reviews of that SC smile.gif

I think mine also got the gearbox mounting problem. When at low speed (gliding), got krukk krukk krukk sound doh.gif

Those who had their gearbox mounting changed, how long did it take for the service?

Thanks for the reply sifus, Sales agent never gave any voucher whatsoever, i guess i have to foot the part charges, what define the warranty actually? If i compare back to my previous Perodua service centre experience confirm first 3 includes everything. Maybe its too much to ask for a free servicing? rclxub.gif

mostly during straight line cruising.. its especially obvious during slow moving traffic, when letting the car glide around 20km/h, or during traffic jam.

Anyone know the best brake pad for EB. Currently using original but quoted 350 for front. Thinking of changing.

I feel Ori brake pad not really good coz noisy(already change 2x still noisy).
I may be next try Bendix Stealth/Ultimate/Titanium series refer:
Front : http://www.lelong.com.my/bendix-ultimate-f...6-09-Sale-P.htm

Rear: http://www.lelong.com.my/bendix-metal-king...6-07-Sale-P.htm

Other option TRW(cheap) or Rapid Stop(RS) or Ferodo(Made in Rep. Czech) refer:
http://www.mudah.my/Ferodo+500c+brake+pad+...2724.htm?last=1

For comfort drive I feel Ferodo or Bendix Stealth suitable & Bendix Titanium & RS for performance.

Other solution is to call I-care to ask about, as some SA not so honest.... I got back my Yes huddle after calling I-care to complain as my SA told me not entitle but in fact yes. then later he claimed I agreed to exchange with free tint.

Just mention to I-care about date of your purchase and which Dealer, ask them whether your car entitle for such free services voucher? Of coz its limited to some but not all.... the common entitlement apply to all dealer only.
