check your engile oil level. is it reducing rapidly or hardly noticed?

leaking top is quite common problem among Campro engines; and being turbocharged i guess the matter is made slightly worst.

Not only I can outrun it, my Exora can out-brake a Mercedes C250.

Please start to defend Mercedes now or you technically cant since it will violate your contract? rolleyes.gif

If the radiator fan still spinning but turns itself off after 5 minutes, its ok.

If the radiator fan still spinning but turns itself off after 6 minutes, it should be still ok.

If the radiator fan still spinning but turns itself off after 10 minutes, its should be still a bit ok.

If the radiator fan still spinning but doesn't turns itself off after 5000 years, it is definitely not ok. Probably radiator fan relay kaput or fan harness connector melted.

2uk3yIt's the other way, with the EPDM seal, I believe the intake port is suffocated by having to draw air from engine room.

Anyone did CVT oil change before? Do you feel any difference? Or, should we consider other alternatives?

I'm looking at the stock CVT fluid (ExxonMobil EZL799) and noticed the 40C viscosity is 2x higher than other competitors (Motul, Amsoil, Nissan etc.). A bit worrisome...
*
Now all SC is using Petronas Tutella... no longer using Esso EZL799. Tutella is blue bottle, blue fluid while Esso EZL is gold bottle, red fluid.

Getting excited on SP.  I actually wished for these last month :

- 4 airbags  ...... fufilled!
- metallic blue color  ... ... almost (still blue but gotta how blue is blue shown in the photo above
- improved tail-light  (current one looks ugly like a footprint) .....  hmm.. not bad

Now lets see if the the pricing is "threatening" or not to my budget. (if its a threat... can still  wait year end rebate =)

you're aiming for Super premium variant?

The car should or shouldn't move to backwards once released the brake with engaging D at slope or hill road? I mean a slight. movement to backward, Thanks.

next time, if you face similar road condition;

1. pull your handbrake
2. foot on brake
2. slot into D
3. release foot from brake
4. release handbrake and gradually add throttle

For grounding cable, just two words of advice:

if you're using thos epurple color wayar with HKS labelling, then don't bother putting.

if you wish to have louder whining sound from the cvt, you can proceed to ground the gearbox bracket screw.

btw after service 10k yesterday at SC, i got this warning light appear sometime, not all the time if press break ... doh.gif
how come this happen, SC just change oil, filter only....  unsure.gif

is this auto gear box light is it?  sweat.gif  sweat.gif

that's the CVT warning light... but there are certain conditions that is not related to CVT but will still trigger the light.

For starters; check your third brake light. See is it working or not. If third brake light is not the problem then have your brake switch checked by SC.

the moment you heard tat little turbo spooling sound, you just want to plant your right foot further down the throttle pedal. tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif Then when it comes to corners you'll wonder "OMG, is this really a van?" while you're wrestling with the steering, fighting the body roll with ease.
