QUOTE(chiahau @ Jul 30 2015, 02:48 PM) Why not? Why don't you try 1st, and give us feedback later? Easier, no? Yes easier, but need to adjust timing. I will also asked if i can apply for Visa Signature through other means because i learnt that with combination of credit limit and FD pledge we can actually apply for it. But first of all i need to schedule one day and go to card center to do all of these.

Received sms from maybank stating that my application has been approved. Check on M2U, ikhwan card approved with credit limit of 3k haha! Pathetic but well i'll only use it for the 5% purposes. So it's actually more than enough

I also just received the sms today saying my application was approved. Exactly 1 week after I filled up the application form. But when I checked m2u, the credit limit is just 5k. I'm also holding m2c with credit limit of 15k. I think from now on probably I'll use less of the m2c since no more cash back. How can I adjust the credit limit for both cards? I'm planning to reduce the credit limit for my m2c and increase for my ikhwan

Why would u want more credit limit? At least with the M2C amex, u get 5x TP rather than the 1xTP on the ikhwan

QUOTE(xalim @ Jul 30 2015, 10:23 AM) currently m2c = 8k split to m2c (6k) + ikhwan (2k) ...and result = failed. any benefit for doing this? CL still is 8k.

QUOTE(wan7075 @ Jul 31 2015, 09:06 AM) any benefit for doing this? CL still is 8k. They want to get the Ikhwan card for petrol and groceries rebate while not giving up on the 5% CB for Dining for M2C. Honestly, I rather cut the M2C and go fully to Ikhwan. Dining on weekends is hard to achieve and not many place accepts Amex.

If not can use Amex which can still earn you 5x TP.

It's sharing my limit anyways. Keep or no keep, same only. My wallet can only fit 6 cards, minus 3 for IC/Driving license/Bank ATM card. So left 3 cards only can bring.

QUOTE(wan7075 @ Jul 31 2015, 09:06 AM) any benefit for doing this? CL still is 8k. No benefit at all, just tried my best to apply ikhwan using this method but failed. And if success, i will use ikhwan for petrol purpose only (1k with cb rm50 only)

I just received a call from Maybank to process Ikhwan card. Since my salary is credited in Maybank. They said no need to submit any documents. Hopefully it gets approved. Fingers crossed. Suppose to apply this few months back but procrastinated until M2C cuts it benefits This post has been edited by cientoo: Jul 31 2015, 03:15 PM
