This is not a fast method via RinggitPlus, but you can get RM230 Lazada voucher (unfortunately not applicable for Ikhwan)

https://ringgitplus.com/en/credit-card/Maybank/

I think it's better for you to call the card centre or CS for follow up.

13 working days is too long!
*
Ok will do so.
Anyway i have replied through email to the CS that acknowledge the acceptance of my application.

As several had experienced, my application was rejected, but not by SMS notification, it was I that email them and got the reply from them.
Therefore i ask along the reason and demand official statement for rejection since in the first place it was informed that decision will be informed through SMS means.

Anyone here straight away tried to apply for this card again when rejected?

Is there a 6 month cooling period as well?

Therefore i need to go to Maybank card center to fill in the conversion form and wait for the procedures right?

If you lazy, can even scan and email.

But slow processing la.

If you go to those center and rush them a little, faster results laugh.gif
*
Ok thanks.
But FYI my application just recently got rejected.
I can still go to Card center and convert M2C to ikhwan in your opinion?

Why not?

Why don't you try 1st, and give us feedback later?

Easier, no?
*
Yes easier, but need to adjust timing.
I will also asked if i can apply for Visa Signature through other means because i learnt that with combination of credit limit and FD pledge we can actually apply for it.

But first of all i need to schedule one day and go to card center to do all of these.

I wasn't requested with any documents when I called this no.
Well, not that it matters, I was still rejected eventually. laugh.gif That was about 4 months ago. tongue.gif
*
so there is a 6 month cooling period?
I was rejected as well and tempted to try straight at the branch.

Maybe should pledge FD + credit limit for VS as well

if u already have maybank card
just reduce the credit limit then apply straight away
done that and successful
*
alright.
thanks for the info.
On side note i've wrote an email to them regarding maybank Visa signature.
and now they are requesting some documents for me, i think they will process my request based on my credit limits and e-FD that i have in maybank.

Re-applied Maybank ikhwan with request of splitting credit limit from my main mbb2cards last week. Today get to know it's already approved. Thank god.
*
Did you specify how much credit to split?

I as well email MBB and now awaiting for response on the credit splitting matter.

Good news for me.
New Ikhwan Gold card reflected in my m2u system.
After approximately 1 month of communicating via email with MBB, finally approved.

Sorry i deleted my email hence no timeline chronology

1st - Application rejected
2nd - Email MBB advice on alternative solution - Using existing credit limit + FD pledging (Rejected)
3rd - Email MBB and request split limit, explaining about my rejected applcation earlier on
4th - MBB emailed and request the amount to split (i request 2k)

Finally approved.
