This software is used to repair ram's spd be careful when u try to play with it. Since seller allowed you to rma why not just return back?

ops, i thought only read the info within the ram and compare it. then its fine, i won't fiddle the setting. might as well just send back. was hoping that can get 1 to 1 exchange on the spot though.

guys, is something wrong with my ram or my mobo, cause sometime when i enter bios the ram stated is in dual channel, sometimes in single channel but still shows total of 16gb. but when i enter cpu-z it shows dual channel.

I seems to have the same problems with you.

I can boot fine to windows with both sticks but sometimes 8gb of it is reserved in task manager, sometimes 16gb is available as normal and Sometimes it will cold post 3 times doh.gif

Is it because one of the ram is Dual Rank and the other is Single Rank?
This is frustrating because my overclock settings are not applied due to this ram problems ranting.gif
It may work for awhile, but after restart cold post again bangwall.gif

What did you do?

If your RAM sticks aren't loading properly, please set their voltage to 1.35v

i continue use the single channel one and send the dual channel one back for checking.

*Update, now even 2666mhz 8gb on the single stick also not stable, after restart will revert back to 2133mhz but can't OC back to 2666mhz, not sure is mobo slot 2 problem or what will go home and try slot 4. sweat.gif same with up voltage to 1.35v still can't get 2666mhz.

Asrock released agesa 1006 to the Fatality board first (their high end) before Taichi (mid range). although in forums beta ones are for Taichi only (i guess Taichi board owners are lab rats).
So strange of asus to not release for the cross hair hero 6 first

That's why i felt so strange, usually manufacturers will prioritize on those flagship products furthermore i head there is separate team special take care of ROG products. Asus did released 2 different agesa 1006 bios unofficially (not in Asus website), if users not pandai pandai go to forums sure won't know about it.

Yup, asrock already released new bios with agesa 1.0.0.6 for most of their am4 x370/b350 mobo. Not bad.

I think BIOS 2.50 has some problems with the Corsair RAM. Before this(on older BIOS) i could set 2666Mhz with single stick of corsair. Now even single stick not working at 2666Mhz rclxub.gif

Guess gotta wait for another update from Asrock.. yawn.gif

Most likely is compatibility issue, if you have extra money i suggest u just buy either Gskill Trident Z C14 3200mhz or Gskill FlareX C14 3200mhz, both are using samsung b die chip which do not have issue for Ryzen.

I read from reddit, FlareX have slightly better chance at getting 3200
