Most likely is compatibility issue, if you have extra money i suggest u just buy either Gskill Trident Z C14 3200mhz or Gskill FlareX C14 3200mhz, both are using samsung b die chip which do not have issue for Ryzen.

Same for me.. Gotta wait for next update hopefully asrock fix this problem.. What gpu u using though? Some people said ram speed only shows large difference if using high end gpu like gtx1080/titan but not like gtx1060/rx470. Or I'm wrong?

not sure this is common issue but happen since i build this rig, when i shutdown my computer there's a sound like metal hitting the fans sound "teng". it only happens when i shutdown / force shut down by holding on power button and bios restart when setting dram timing.

and when my monitor went to sleep or off (15 minute). i tried open back my computer by moving my mouse / pressing keyboard but the screen remain black but my cpu is still on. the solution is, i have to restart everytime it happen. my power settings are in high performance.

cpu : ryzen 5 1500x
gpu : rx 580 nitro+ LE
mobo: x370 gaming k4

Check both fans (GPU and CPU) if something is there, usually wires.

Even stock clock Ryzen 3 win over my Ryzen 7 1700.
3.4GHz vs 3GHz, quad core still works better for games doh.gif

Mainly due to high single core frequency, majority of new released games still didn't optimized for multicore, for game to use 8 cores still long way to go i guess.

I expect things to change very quickly in the coming years. Ryzen will be a good investment, and by the looks of things it should stay relevant like how the great Sandy Bridge was.

Stupid Intel monopoly sure contribute to this trend. My Sandy Bridge i5 was quad core, 6 years later we're still @ quad core i5

Hopefully more games will adopt DX12/Vulkan to take advantages of multi core processor biggrin.gif
