If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
I rather not upgrade unless the new driver does improve something.

If it's available for notebook, who knows it might come to desktop!
After all we need more low power consumption processor from AMD side. Even now the A10-7850K isn't that great when it comes to playing games like BF4, what if one day the A10-8850K comes with FX technology with IGP like R7 260 and power consumption at 60w? It's a dream but yeah I really hope this dream comes true. |

Donno when's their 3xx series coming.
The recent R9 285 looks good though, TDP dropped while performance seems more efficient. |

QUOTE(gogo2 @ Jan 19 2015, 01:10 PM) Oh god. No wonder goldfries in another thread dissing AMD. that one not dissing la, that one fact.I read about AMD and I feel good. Maybe in marketing only I've been using AMD since first generation, I have all of them till this day. The technology is superb but it's going to take time, HSA foundation is there but whether software actually uses it will actually take time. Last year AMD sent me to Singapore to Live Blog their event. http://www.goldfries.com/tech-news/amd-future-compute-day-1/ What you must realize is that the event is called FUTURE OF COMPUTE. FUTURE - that's where AMD is heading and it needs time. The idea of GCN where CPU is able to use the brute force of GPU is interesting, I would very much like to be able to use my 2048 Stream processors on my work. I think their direction is brilliant, it's just a matter of time and money. If they pull through then it'll be awesome, different way to get computing done. |

QUOTE(chocobo7779 @ Jan 19 2015, 01:02 PM) Bear in mind that not all games work with hybrid Crossfire... Most games do work with Hybrid Crossfire BUT BUT BUT Hybrid Crossfire is no where near as fast as a dedicated graphics card.It can be very buggy to work with. For example, an FX-4300 processor (RM 399) and R7 250 (RM 289) total cost is less than RM 800, costs far less than A10-7850K crossfire with R7 240 DDR3. Again, I think the APU has potential. It's niche and it will be great once the technology gets into momentum. Here's the FX APU performance |

Still waiting for that processor to be in the market la. Imagine just APU and it does the job, need not one processor and add another integrated GPU. |

See la now I end up sparing my $$$$ to see what you have in store. Just hoping the price to be reasonable, I don't mind the power consumption because it'll be useful for my PSU stress test. Maybe I should just get a used R9 295X2. |

some PSU aren't good at handling higher loads.
It's not always about the wattage, more often than not it's about how the components deliver the power. take for example lower end PSU or lower quality PSU, they may deliver the wattage claimed or may even not reach it at all, some can reach it but not for pro-longed periods. good PSU from reputable brands go through stringent tests before being able to approve for packaging and such, brands like FSP for example do so at their factory (info from my conversation with them). As for Aerocool their KCAS models work fine for me but I can't say the same for their Strike-X. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-18047...-tier-list.html Strike-X 800w falls under Tier 4 - Not for overclocking systems or high end gaming rigs. May not even output labeled power and fail standard ATX specifications slightly. May even use cheap components to meet a price |

QUOTE(chocobo7779 @ Mar 17 2015, 02:24 PM) So, are you bringing in the A8 7600? It has been taking quite a while right now... Donno whether there's still hope.Later bring in one batch but no one buy, how? Furthermore bring in is one thing but that retail side is another story - force retailer to take ah? And I think AMDmy is just the PR part, in the end business decision still up to the other respective people to decide. This means - how much would it hurt them to bring in a whole batch in order just to satisfy a few people on LYN? |

I'm using the FX-8350 too. If I were to buy an FX now I'll go for the E variants. They run so much cooler, too bad AMD release them so late.

Don't fiddle with voltage. Stock voltage would always work fine.
Try out software like Unigine Heaven 4.0. Use the settings below. ![]() |

Acid_RuleZz this one you have to kacau the manufacturer already because AMD only provide tech, those stuff like fancy BIOS, what speed to put and all are done by the manufacturer.
