always keep an eye for the Shutter Speed shown in the bottom left of the viewfinder when shooting, it helps a lot in preventing shaky/ blurred images :)

On the 70d I haven't seen the number in view finder, is this possible? I can only see it when using live view screen.

for events like that, try to go the widest aperture you can and shutter speed at least 1/100.

as for the photo - the skin tone looks fine, just slightly warm but overall it's acceptable. look at the other areas like the flags and leaves, the colors look fine. the whole photo looks yellow because of the walls around. white surfaces may show cast of the colors of the surrounding.

Actual place have a black cement floor and nothing like in the photo. Will look at the WB later to see what was its setting.

glossy cement floor often looks dark but camera sensors work a little differently.

if the exposure was lower than the floor will look dark.

i read some people actually put their body in a sealed rice bag and leave it for few days or week until it dries completely. the body then gets back to work. here's a link to the rice trick

The amount Canon service centre will charge depends on what needs to be fixed.

Finally get to use my 55-250mm on people to test portrait potential. But at 200+mm I was hoping to see the background to be more faded out. But yeah they didn't notice I took a picture of them biggrin.gif. Its a nice light lens. I still can't imagine myself walking around with a big white telephoto lens.

3.5mm TS cable.
Unless it has a PCSync port. Then use PC sync connector.

Thanks, but still confused...
The Yongnuo RF-603 comes with a cable, which, according to the manual, is 'PC sync cable/shutter connecting cable'. The cable can be connected to the 2.5mm shutter socket, but not the 3.5mm PC socket. So what I need to do is to use a 3.5mm converter?

Most strobes have a 3.5mm TS input.
So you could get a PC sync to 3.5mm TS
or
2.5mm TS to 3.5mm TS

I thought the cable is used to connect camera instead of flash light? I always use mine as remote shutter instead of PC sync.

Well, not sure. The manual says it is 'PC sync cable/shutter connecting cable', so I thought it doubles as both.

that's pretty hard to say. I went from a 550D > 550D + M > M only. The M is a good camera I can tell you. Awesome build quality, really compact size (around the size of a phone, just quick thick) and if you got the 22mm it's a very good lens for very little amount of money. But if you shoot fast moving things or do a lot of flash shooting, the M is not for you. The focusing is still quite slow by today's standard, not unusable , just you might miss quick moments. the liveview also sucks for flash shooting, you always get totally blacked out screen since there's no option to turn off exposure simulation. the M is more like a travel/ street camera that you would take your time slowly set up and frame shots instead of gun-and-run DSLR style shooting smile.gif

my 2cents.
